You could as long as you kept a very good hold of it.
But.... it is not something I'd suggest doing as there would be always be a chance that it could get sucked into your behind. And what goes up (when it comes to your backside) does not always come out.

If you're interested in using that dildo for anal play, I strongly recommend also grabbing a set of vibrator enhancers. I've been using them to add a safer base to some of my glass toys, and I've been really happy with the results!

We use a similar glass wand for anal sex and have no issues. From my experience the issue of having something 'sucked in' seems like myth - but it is possible so safety should be taken seriously.

The flared base of most anal toys is a great safety feature but not required for a good time to be had.

Doesn't hurt to try. I personally find glass too hard and prefer softer toys for anal, but everyone is different.

Glass is great material to use for anal play because it can be completely cleaned and sanitized so it's very safe, however, if I was using it as an anal toy I'd get something with a flared base.

You seem to be a butt lady. Girl after my own heart. I was looking at that with the vibrator enhancers mentioned above for my anal play. I'm wanting wider toys for more of a gape.
So, yes, you can use it for anal play, just make sure it's safe! This is so long I highly doubt it'd get sucked in, but better safe than sorry. You could also just have your partner control it.

I have this toy and I've used it for anal before and never had a problem, it's actually a lot easy for me to take than silicone for anal play since it was such smooth bumps. Just have a good hold on it or play with a partner.

There was a discussion on here somewhere that it really depends on if your tush tends to push things out or pull things in. It seems the majority of folks have a tush that wants to push things out if left to its own devices. BUT, if you have one that wants to pull things in, you could run into trouble.
I suppose if you know your butt wants to push things out, and you keep a firm grip on it, you could use it. If it was me, I'd always worry about the slim chance of it going too far north and I wouldn't be able to relax and enjoy. I would suggest the add on bases that were mentioned above just to be on the safe side.
