This is NOT a lubricant.

Very true, but that motor sure would be clean. LOL!

Does spit count as a non-lube product? Cause if so..then yes I've used a non-lube product without a problem

Good question. It isn't technically a lube I suppose, but one of its functions is in lubricating the food, and mucous is what the vagina secretes.

I think the intent of this thread is non-lubes that aren't made by the human body.

I would be afraid of an infection if I attempted to use anything that was not a lubricant.

Hair should never be used as lubricant for masturbating. Unfortunately, it has terrific hold, NOT, easy slipperiness.

My ex once grabbed a bottle of a mentholated body wash.... in addition to the resulting UTI, the mentholated vagina sensation for about 24 hours was too much!!

for sure, lol. Actually wondered if it could be used as lube for anal sex.

i am so sensitive that even the hypoallergenic lubes irritate me (see my review). i have been wondering if there was something more natural to use. This is a great thread, I think i will try some coconut oil.

plus if i am remembering everything i just read...? would it be appropriate for anal? no to thin?

I voted no when I should have voted yes!

I use olive oil and coconut oil vaginally with no problem. But no way would I *ever* use soap or shampoo!

Also, someone mentioned a womon who used grape jelly as lube and got a horrifying infection. That wouldn't have happened if she was educated in vaginal health [the vagina has a balance of good bacteria and stuffing sugary stuff in it can throw off that balance].

Wouldn't olive oil mess up your vaginal chemistry?

A friend of mine once used butter as an anal lube. He said it worked fine, but then, he wasn't on the receiving end, and I never got the girl's side of the story.

The shampoo idea sounds horrid! I don't know why anyone would do that, especially when you could just as easily keep a tube of K-Y or anything else in a bathroom (hell, in the shower even) for easy access. Wow.

I've never used anything but lube. I've heard that egg whites were used, historically.

I've never used a non-specified lubricant during sex, but I can say that those cheap flavored "massage oils/lubricants" really aren't good at either unless you like feeling as if you're covered in maple syrup. It seems to me that sex is worth taking the time to do right. At least I suppose this is the kind of experience one learns from and doesn't repeat.

I can't believe she didn't realize it would burn basically all soap does- maybe if they tried conditioner or hand lotion i wouldn't think either of them were idots but shampoo

I used hand lotion to jack it more than a few times, but I don't think you are talking about that. Mrs. Peg is extremely sensitive, so we like to stick to the real stuff for her.

Baby oil is petroleum based and often has fragrances or other additives. As an oil it is also kind of thin for effective anal lube. Vaseline will work in a pinch, but it isn't very good and can be hard to clean up.
