Seems like the ingredients list for these types of lubes isn't the greatest. Always glycerin or parabens...

Me too!

I've been obsessed with lubes lately, except I've been obsessed with trying all of the sensation play kinds. I think plain water lube is boring, and if anything now am looking to "explore" that kind, ha. It makes me feel a little bit backwards/ ironic

It sometimes scares me when it feels like I'm spasming down there? It's happened a few times, feeling like micro-spasms were happening, and that's what was causing the "heat"/burning but idk... it's such a unique feeling I feel like that kind of lube is enough for me, like I don't need anything else beyond just putting the lube on and lightly playing with myself. I feel like the sensation of the lube is so much that any more from a toy/ partner is like "WHOA."

I also worry about infection a lot, too, and can understand that, although I've never gotten an infection from it

Depends on the brand for me. Some of the lubes marketed as tingling or warming don't do anything for me. Others leave a burning sensation.

Never had it get so bad that I felt like it was on fire though. That sounds rather unpleasant. o_o

I haven't tried them for the fear of my vagina reacting like that.

Meh. I've tried one cooling lube and one that was supposed to be a warming lube (but it was more cooling than the cooling lube...?) I'm more fond of stimulation gels for the clit and g-spot than tingling lubes.

I can usually handle it on my vagina but once that stuff drips towards my anus I'm ready to cry. I do not understand how they can hurt so bad!!!

Any reaction you have been having to them is only going to get WORSE every time you expose yourself to the ingredient(s) that are causing the bad reaction. It sounds like you gave it more than a fair shot & now it's time to back off before you do some real injury to yourself.

Take it from a chemically sensitive & highly allergic person, don't ever ignore your body's warning signs that something is wrong. Mucus membranes are so much more sensitive than your regular skin and I don't think you want to risk your sexual function on an unnecessary feature in a lube.

I wouldn't risk it if you aren't sure how you'll react to chemicals and when it does work it's nothing amazing from my experience.

I can handle tingling lubes and they're okay, but I really dislike warming lubes. They really hurt me and leave me out of action for a few days.

Yeah, after KY Sensitive ended up providing an inadvertent warming sensation (read: my skin felt like it was on fire), I haven't been tempted to try actual warming/tingling lubes, particularly from them.
