So what is this, and why are you telling me about it?

This is a sucker. Also known as candy, or a lollipop. This one has been designed to numb the back of your throat as you eat it to make giving a blowjob easier, but with the added benefit of making your mouth taste like candy and making it harder to taste whatever else you may be putting in your mouth.

Ok then. What does the packaging look like?

Nothing horrible. It's certainly not discreet, but it's not exactly tacky either. The front has the sucker in a plastic tray along with phrases like "naughty numbing sensation" and "great flavor" and "long lasting." The back has a drug facts list like you would see on any medical type ingestable. It lists active and inactive ingredients, and has directions for use.

Directions? For a sucker?

Yep. It says for adults to use up to 4 times daily or as directed by a doctor or dentist. I'd just go with your best judgement on this one. The packaging says that you can use this before, during, or after your oral giving and I would use your best judgement on that as well. Candy is almost always a no-no near vaginas, and stopping in the middle of giving head to keep eating candy sounds like a mood killer.

Ok. I'm like, 98% sure I can figure out how to use this on my own. Now what about ingredients?

There are ingredients printed on the plastic wrapper around the sucker, but you'll probably end up destroying that while opening it. The back of the packaging says that the active ingredient is benzocaine 30mg (this is what causes the numbing) and the inactive ingredients are sugar, glucose syrup, natural and artificial flavors, lactic acid, and red 40. For the most part, it seems to be on par with standard candies.

Can you tell me more about the sucker itself?

Sure! It starts off at just over 4" around. I'm not sure if you've ever tried to put something that's 4" around in your mouth before, but if you have a smaller mouth it can be a bit of a pain for a while. Especially if you have a tongue ring. Other than that, it's just like an over sized lollipop really. It's got a better made stick than most of the other lollipops I've run into in my sucker eating past. This one doesn't seem to want to fall apart as easily as others.

Cool. How about the flavor? What did it taste like? Was there an aftertaste?

This comes in 4 different flavors: sour apple, berry, blueberry, and cinnamon. I got the berry one. To me, it tastes a lot like I would expect red candy to taste like. I can't really pick a specific fruit flavor, but when I taste it I think "red fruit candy." There wasn't really much of an aftertaste, but if I really concentrated I could taste something that made me think of cough syrup. However this wasn't very strong and wasn't enough to deter me from finishing it.

Yum! Now, how well does it really work?

Was I able to just all of a sudden deepthroat? No. But I did find that I could take things deeper into my mouth than I could before eating the sucker. It seemed to numb my lips and my tongue more than my throat, but my throat did feel a bit of numbing. Not enough to just start ramming things down it, but enough to make it easier to work them in. The numbing was completely gone for me within 20-25 minutes after I stopped sucking on the sucker.

Fair enough. Can I do anything else with it?

Enjoy the flavor? Well, according to the packaging you can also use it for occasional minor irritation, pain, sore mouth, and sore throat; pain due to canker sores; pain due to minor irritation or injury of the mouth and gums; or minor discomfort and protection of irritated areas in sore mouth and sore throat. So if you've been sick and have a sore throat, you could use this sucker to help make it feel better as well.

This was surprisingly tasty. It didn't numb my throat entirely, but I didn't think it was too bad, at least for something that's also supposed to taste good. My mouth did feel like it had more saliva than normal in it, but I couldn't tell if that was because the candy was causing it, or just because I was going longer in between periods of swallowing because the candy was so big. The down side was that my lips also went numb. The up side was that it made my sore throat feel a lot better. All in all this has my wholehearted seal of approval for a functional gag gift, but not as something to really aid your sexing on a regular basis
