Metal Worx Luv plug - butt plug discontinued by Pipedream - review by Red

The Metal Worx Luv Plug is a buttplug designed as a mimic of the Njoy Pfun Plug. The design is optimal for prostate stimulation, but this toy is good for either male or female bodies people because its unique angle and elongated shape make it sit solid and anchored in ass, prostate or not. In fact, its prostate massage abilities are almost a secondary - or 'bonus' - perks to the plug. And, believe it or not, the plug actually works quite nicely as a vaginal toy, albeit a slender one, that is an excellent g-spot massager.

This toy is made of polished steel. It is important to note that polished steel is not stainless steel, which explains why this toy comes in at a lower price point than the Njoy Pfun plug. Stainless steel is of course a form of steel, but it is a high quality, highly pure alloy with the 'stainless' quality. Steel composition aside, the Luv Plug is heavy (as a steel toy should be), clocking in at just over half a pound. It is also amazingly smooth and non-porous, meaning that it needs very little lube in order to slide into place. Finally, being steel means the toy is excellent for temperature play - just be careful, as it will becaome far too hot to handle in boiling water and far too cold to touch in a freezer.

The Luv Plug features two bulges which form a gradual curve, and a thin 'stem' before the oval shaped handle. This design allows for delicious stimulation during insertion and removal, but not *too* much stimulation as there is really only one additional 'bump' above and beyond what one would expect for a buttplug. The size and gentle curve of the Luv Plug is perfect because it mirrors the contours of the ass (or well, the average ass), and does so at a very sharp angle, which additionally works to 'anchor' the plug into place. This makes the Luv Plug very suitable for wearing out and about without having it fall out, as well as, of course, putting in for playtime. As a lovely added decorative touch, there is a sparkly rhinestone embedded in the handle.

The Luv Plug inserts easily, being only 1 1/4" in diameter and requiring only a small amount of lube in order to get slick. However, the curve of the toy and its absolute rigidity makes it the sort of toy that is not a complete beginners toy - a finger or two of warm-up will go a long way towards comfortable full insertion. Once in place, the Luv Plug feels great - heavy and very 'present', but not completely intrusive the way a large unyielding toy is wont to be. Personally, I prefer to wear it backward, aimed towards the back of my body, because that feels best to me. It stays secure and does not slowly slip out or anything like that during extended wear, although it does tend slither free during orgasm, which in me is something buttplugs always do.

The Luv Plug, being made out of smooth, non-porous steel, cleans up very easily with some hot soapy water or perhaps a toy cleaner. It may be boiled for 10 minutes if sanitization is desired (careful pulling the toy out of boiling water, it will burn you). Soaking in a 10% bleach solution for 10 minutes will also sanitize the toy. Because the Luv Plug is not stainless steel, do take extra care to dry it well before storage, and also, be aware that repeated boilings and/or bleachings may contribute to a degree of fogginess in the toys finish. Store the Luv Plug in its storage box, or wherever you prefer to store your toys. It will not pick up fuzz and hair and will always be ready for you when you need it.

The Luve Plug, like all toys in the Metal Works line, comes in a very beautiful and high quality storage box. The box features stickers on its lid which identify the specific contents, but these stickers may be peeled off which will reveal a simple Metal Worx logo in the center of the lid. The box is filled with foam that is specifically shaped for the Luv Plug and may be removed if desired to reveal a spacious interior that is lined with velvety fabric. This box will easily accommodate a few other small toys if you wish to use it as a storage box for a specific part of your toy collection.
