Metal Worx Luv plug - butt plug discontinued by Pipedream - review by Trysexual

The Luv plug by Metal Worx (very similar to the Pfun plug by Njoy) is designed for anal use primarily to stimulate the P-spot or G-spot, though it can be used vaginally as well, if you so choose. It can be worn during sex, masturbation, long term or manipulated with the handle. It can double as a kegel exerciser too. Being metal, it is fantastic for those into temperature play as metal conducts heat or cold well.

You can use it solo or with a partner. I personally find it most appealing to wear during sex, when getting a BJ or have my girlfriend wear it during oral or vaginal sex. I plan to use this during solo sessions too and perhaps try extended wear again (I found butt plugs to be kinda boring in that respect). She is an anal beginner and I will report back on her experience in a few months, as I have been easing her into anal play slowly. This one however, I purchased for my use and that will be it's primary objective. I enjoy Prostate stimulation and the Luv plug shines in that respect. Both literally and figuratively.

I haven't tried cowgirl with this yet, but I can see where the added pressure of her on top will provide even more stimulation to the prostate from the pressure and weight of her body. It stays out better when lying on your back too, vs being on your knees.

The Metal Worx Luv plug is made of polished steel and feels quite heavy, even when already prepared by reading the reviews ahead of purchase. The website says it is 10oz. No need to worry about allergies, odors, sharing toys, sterilizing, breakage etc. polished steel is highly durable. You can boil it, soak in a 10% bleach solution, wear it in the bath/shower, cleanse with toy cleaners, soap and water, etc. to keep it squeaky clean. The Luv plug will last a lifetime. Just don't use steel wool or something abrasive (but why would you right?). Other reviewers have cautioned against using too much bleach or cleansing too often using bleach that can cause pitting. I tend to boil mine every so often and just use soap and water after use.

Being solid steel, it is, of course, waterproof and holds temperature very well. The workmanship is excellent. The bulb is very smooth and anal friendly shape for easy painless insertion. The handle is tapered and fits snugly and securely between your cheeks when inserted. It requires minimal lube to insert, but depending on what lube you use, reapplication may be required for extended wear. It fits comfortably, both inside and outside.

The workmanship is not quite as good as the Njoy line, but it is half the price, so I really have no complaints there. If well cared for this toy will last a lifetime. If you look really hard you might see some minor imperfections in the polishing that are little more than discolorations in certain light.

There is an artificial diamond on the handle merely for cosmetics and doesn't add anything to performance. I think I prefer the taper of the Pfun plug more, but for half the price I can't complain.

DIMENSIONS
The luv plug is 4 1/4" long with 3 1/4" being insertable. The widest circumference is 3 1/2" or 1 1/4" in diameter. The bulb is smooth and tapered in all directions making it easy to insert. The neck is slim and stays inserted, though the 2nd neck does tend to slide out if you are not on your back or not clenching. The plug weighs a hefty 10oz and comes as quite a surprise if you have never handled a toy like this yourself.

The Luv plug works as advertised. It inserts fairly easily and even better if you warm up with a smaller toy or finger to help lube your anus first. The weight is really cool and a new sensation to me (even more so than the Njoy pure Medium plug). It doesn't take long before it heats up to your body temperature too. You insert it with the bulb pointing towards your stomach and can feel the fullness when you contract your PC muscles around the plug. For me, it gives a solid prostate pressure and mild stimulation and it definitely stays inserted, but can slide out to the middle neck when using it in a thrusting position. It stays put nicely lying on your back and feels amazing during a BJ.

I like using this when I am aroused for masturbation, just to wear in the shower or around the house, or during sex. I recommend using a tried and true anal lube or you might need to reapply during wear. You can use any lube and I enjoy using a silicone lube for anal play, since it lasts longer.

The first time I tried the Luv Plug, it lived up to my expectations. It is just an ideal prostate toy/butt plug. I have no real complaints about the performance. It does what it is supposed to do. I just love how this feels when inserted! I plan on using it often. It hits my prostate nicely and intensifies my orgasms. It always gives you an awareness without being uncomfortable

The smooth finish and tapered design allows it to slide right in without working up to it first. Requires little lube, but I'm not shy about using extra lube for anal play. You can never use too much.

The Luv plug can be stored anywhere really, but the included box box or a pouch would be best to assure it does not get scratched (just in case you stored it with other metallic objects). Otherwise, it is very easy to care for and sterilize. I wish it had come with a pouch of its own.

Cleaning is a breeze. You can wash it in hot soap and water, boil in water for 3 minutes, or toss it into a 10% bleach solution. You could certainly toss it in the dishwasher as well.

Nothing is safer than steel for sharing. It is nonporous, easily sterilized and can be used with any type of lube. Steel is a 10 on the safety scale. If you are looking to spend this much on a sex toy, you probably already are educated about such matters.

The love plug comes in a unique looking case with a fastener clip, kinda like a mini spy cash briefcase, but only with Metal Worx advertising on it. It is plastic and metal and a bit cheaper feeling than it looks, but it is useful if you chose to store your toy in it. It could be discreet if you remove the exterior decals. The inside has a foam cutout to store the plug in. Mine was sloppily glued in and has corners raised on one side. Not a huge deal, but not something you would expect in this price range either.

It is definitely useful for storage and protection, but you could also store it in a pouch (not included) to keep from getting scratched.

This thing is truly a thing of beauty. It is as shiny and artistic looking as a fine piece of jewelry. The heft is something to behold. It seems to hit my pleasure spots better than the Njoy pure plug medium, which is why I chose it. It is a great feeling inserting the plug. The combination of the pop sensation from the shape, the cold (or warm) temperature, the solid heavy steel and the smoothness of the finish all add up to pleasure.

If you look really close you can see some minor finish imperfections in the Polished steel within the loop handle, but the business end is flawless where it matters. I don't regret purchasing at all. I did look at the Pfun plug too, but thought it was over-priced for basically the same exact toy. If you take good care of your Luv plug it should last a lifetime.

From the firs time I inserted the Luv Plug, I knew I found a winner. It inserts fairly easy with a little bit of lube and once inside immediately feels great, like it was meant to be there. Because of the heft and solidness, you can feel the entire plug inside you when squeezing your muscles and it definitely intensifies your orgasms (well my orgasms). This is one I will be using for a long time to come.

It gives great pressure on the prostate and a feeling of fullness throughout. The weight is a pleasant sensation as well.

I am already anxious to get home and give it another try as I sit here at work.

I have had it slide out once during sex, but that is not totally a surprise.
