Use

This is an anal douche and works like an enema to clean out your anal cavity. You can use it before anal sex to make sure you're clean for your partner, or just to help yourself feel a little cleaner. It could also be used in certain fetish situations.

The douche separates into two separate parts for easy cleaning and to make it easier to fill with water. You're going to want to fill the bulb end with tepid or lukewarm water but no soap or other additives. And remember that just because the water might not feel too hot on your hands, it's going into your anal cavity so you're not going to want scalding water (after boiling or otherwise sterilizing the douche). Then you lube it up and very cautiously lube it up and insert it rectally and squeeze the water out slowly. When you're done, the water is automatically going to want to "drain" ASAP so you're going to want to be near a toilet. Repeat this process until the water starts coming out clear.

Use caution with this as anal cavities are sensitive and do have the potential to tear. This is why it is so important to make sure the douche is as clean as possible because if there is an accident you don't want any foreign bacteria any tears. I would also strongly advise against sharing it with anyone because while it can be sterilized it's good practice to not share anal toys.

This should really only be used as a douche and shouldn't be used like a sex toy. I would also advise against using it as a vaginal douche as it could mess up the natural pH of your vagina and the natural bacteria that lives in there.

Material / Texture

The whole thing is made of silicone. It's completely smooth and completely non-porous. It's also a nice and soft material so when you insert it there isn't any kind of drag that you sometimes feel with some of the more tacky materials.

The insertable part has a harder plastic on the inside of the douche but the outer layer that actually touches your rectum is completely coated in silicone. The plastic base just makes it all around easier to insert. The bulb end that you would fill with water is completely made of silicone. It's thin and easy to squeeze. Just like a turkey baster or something similar.

I would say that beginners or more advanced users could use this if they wanted to. Just take it slow, read up on it a little bit, and don't do anything unnecessarily reckless like using anything other than water or getting the water too hot.

Design / Shape / Size

It has a bit of a turkey baster look, but much smoother. The top part is a bulb that you squeeze to shoot the water out of the lower stem part of the douche. The bulb is just silicone and is easy to squeeze. Even with joint pain in my fingers I had no issues with using it. And all you have to do to separate the bulb from the stem is lightly pull them apart. They pop back together just as easily.

The stem is made from a harder plastic material that was then coated in silicone to make the insertable part non-porous and easy to sterilize, which is important for anal toys. At the tip of the stem there are three holes for the water to come out. One on either side of the stem and one directly on the tip so that if you hold it with the stem facing upwards and squeeze it looks a bit like a lowercase t.

The tip is the widest part of the stem and the circumference is about the size of a nickle or a bit thicker than my thumb. Then it gets narrower until closer to the bulb where it starts to widen out and then the bulb is much larger. It's actually about the size of a light bulb and this part should not be inserted at all.

It is definitely not discreet at all and I'm not sure that you could travel easily with it, at least via air plane. I honestly don't know if security would take something like this and unless you're willing to tell them in front of a possible crowd that it's an anal douche I wouldn't risk it.

Performance

I'm honestly very happy with it all around. I didn't anticipate any problems but it was a much better experience than I had thought. Once the bulb is full of water if you point it with the stem down, some of the water will trickle out so you'll want to keep it pointing up until you're ready to use it. You can also see by squeezing it that the water really shoots out of those holes quite hard and fast if you give it a really good squeeze. It's good to just gently squeeze it until the water runs out or your fingers meet in the middle. Then just gently let it inflate again as you pull your fingers apart.

Using it does feel a bit weird. It doesn't exactly feel "wet" but you do feel some pressure in your lower intestines and around your anus. It's a full feeling almost like you've got to use the bathroom. And once you pull the douche out you WILL have to go to the bathroom. Just hop on the toilet and let it go.

I don't really know that I personally would use it again, but I'm thinking about getting a second one for my husband because he's a much bigger fan of anal play and it is a high quality douche even if it's not exactly my cup of tea.

I will say that it does exactly what it says it does and that I did feel cleaner after using it.

Care and Maintenance

Washing it is extremely easy. You just take it apart by pulling the bulb and the stem. They just pop apart. You can put them in a dishwasher with the opening of each section facing down to make sure the insides are all cleaned out as well. Kind of set them in there like they're cups. You can also drop them into boiling water for three minutes.

It can also be cleaned with soap and water but that isn't going to sterilize it like it should be used for anal use.

You can use a water based lube with it to help with insertion. In fact I wouldn't suggest using it at all without lube.

Follow-up commentary
It's only been used a couple of times, but it's a high quality douche and I like having it for the rare times I want to feel a little more full for a little bit.
