Pleasure #1 - butt plug discontinued by Happy Valley - review by Triangles

The Pleasure #1 is a silicone butt-plug offered by Happy Valley Silicone which is located in Canada. It came promptly to me in a clear plastic bag, with no discretion at all, and the Happy Valley logo on top as a cardboard piece. This renders the packaging itself useless, and really can't be used to store the toy nor does it leave anything to the imagination. It looks like a small butt plug, and no one in the room will disagree with you. Better just throw the packaging away, and get yourself something like a microfiber cloth bag, as this will help prevent lint from sticking onto the toy.

The Pleasure #1 is made out of 100% solid silicone with a smooth finish that hardly collects lint. It is very flexible and can be bent in all sorts of directions. Silicone is the ideal choice for sex toys due to its nonporous qualities, meaning that germs cannot rest and multiply along its surface. There is no hole for a bullet vibrator of any sort, and the toy can easily be cleaned by soap and water or disinfected by boiling, the dishwasher, or a 10% bleach bath. I never have found sanitizing the toy in these ways necessary, as the silicone does not contain or absorb any unpleasant odors that can't be easily cleaned with soap and water, and some hand sanitizer. I highly recommend disinfecting thoroughly, due to the toy's intended purpose for anal insertion.

This butt plug is obviously for just the beginners or those curious into anal play. At 1" wide, at the widest part, the plug is identical to the width and feeling of a finger inside of you as the silicone warms to body temperature. It is definitely not intended to wear for a long time or to wear during intercourse, I have found it slipping out when masturbating vaginally, or just on its own after a while. I feel that the best use of this toy is to tease, warm up to anal play or as an anal dildo, thrusting it inside provides the feeling of a slim finger gliding inside of you. Even the completely inexperienced should have absolutely no problem with inserting and using the toy, and will find it slipping out with a little too much lube. For those attempting long term use with the Pleasure #1, less is more for lubrication. Speaking of which, never use silicone lubrication on a silicone toy, as this can damage the surface of the toy permanently.

I feel that this butt plug just wasn't enough for me, someone completely new to anal play. I would of liked a more full feeling, a feeling that it wasn't going to fall out. Though the base is flared and its oval shape allows it to sit between the cheeks comfortably, it is thick and the plug itself is far to small to actively stay in place during any sort of use. I feel that this toy was created for those who would like to try it out in the first place, try it without lube maybe, work themselves up. I personally do still like this toy, I like the feeling of it inside as a sensual finger of a partner and use it more for thrusting than long term wear. Other may feel differently, I believe the amount of lube you use will greatly affect your success of making the toy stay inside and making it feel filling. I find that without lube, it actually is a tight fit, but it's best with just a few drops or so of water based lube to allow it to stay. I would recommend a thicker anal plug still for first time users, but I will still find this plug its place in my toy chest.

It is still a wonderfull starting, small anal toy. However, being as it is no larger than a finger, you will outgrow it quickly.
