Pleasure #1 - butt plug discontinued by Happy Valley - review by Girly Juice

I bought this as my very first foray into anal toys. It's great for easing oneself into the sensation of anal stimulation.

Pleasure Plug 1 is small enough that I can slip it in and masturbate normally (including penetration with a glass dildo, for example) without anything getting in my way. This makes it nice for a novice like me because it's important to create associations between anal penetration and pleasure if you want to get into anal sex.

PP1's size is the equivalent of maybe one finger of a large person, or two fingers of a smaller person. Its shape is comfortable. I have some issues with the base sometimes biting into my asscheeks, but that could just be because I'm a bit chubby in the ass region.

I tried wearing this for a longer amount of time (3-4 hours?) and it got a little uncomfortable, I think because of its slightly pointed shape. I'm no expert, but I'm guessing that something more rounded would be better for long-term wear. I also found that the plug tended to slip out just a little bit - not all the way, but enough for it to make me nervous. Maybe there needs to be a more extreme angle at the base in order for the plug to stay in.

I appreciate that Happy Valley's products are made of high-quality silicone and are produced locally (at least for me - I live in Canada). I can feel confident putting this in my butt knowing that it doesn't have toxic ingredients in it.

My next adventure will be attempting to wear this plug during vaginal intercourse. I think the Pleasure Plug will be a good fit for this (both figuratively and literally!) because, as I said, it's small and unobtrusive, so it wouldn't get in the way of vaginal penetration.

This plug still does what I want it to do - stays inside me, subtly reminding me of its presence, while I walk around and do other things.

However, I recently tried wearing it during sex and it popped out after a couple of minutes - so maybe its small size makes it less than ideal for use during sex.
