Pleasure pearls butt plug by WHK GmbH - review by Woman China

I clicked on what looked like to be the perfect anal toy... Pleasure Pearls.

I looked at all the measurements, and I looked at all my toys. I looked at the real life page view (1:1) and got excited. Clicking on the "add to shopping cart," my body was alive with excitement at the prospect of ordering my first real anal toy. Clicking on that final submit button, that button that would send my new toy to me, my arousal knew no bounds.

Fast forward seven days...

I open my door, the box in hand. The whole thirty minute drive back from the airport cargo, that brown simple box taunting me, "Open me! Open me!" but I stopped myself from just tearing it open and waiting till I was sitting down with a cup of coffee.

Opening this brown box, I remove a smaller plastic box with a window opening to see my first ever anal plug. (So be warned opening your box in front of company you do not want knowing what is inside!!! The only real info on the box was about temperature play, no little pouch to store the toy in... just a plasticy foam to hold the toy and keep it from breaking in its original packaging)

And then my heart dropped.

Size isn't everything. This is indeed true. At three and a half inches, the Pleasure Pearls insertable length is perfect in my opinion. But the thickness of approximately 7/8" in diameter was the let down. Being a metric girl... I didn't bother to look at the conversions.

Removing the plug from its safety foam, holding it in my hand, enjoying the tempered glass in my fingers. Its hardness, and each of its three pearls, my mind thinking about how I wish that this was a wee bit thicker. Running to the sink, washing it up with of course antibacterial soap, patting it dry, and even though I did not think it was thick enough, I wanted to give it a go or two anyways. Applying some lube and just going to town.

For me personally, what I enjoy about anal is that feeling of being stretched as the toy slides in. Because of the thinness of this toy, I had none of that. If you are one who has enjoyed a finger or a tongue, and wants to experiment with a toy and would like it to be glass... this is the one for you. Seriously. To compare it, take a look here where you can see some items to compare it too. The insertable portion is just a wee bit longer than a tube of regular chap stick, and the thickness of the toy is just a tiny bit thicker than a tube of chap stick as well.

This toy for me is a write off anally, but I do kind of enjoy it as a teaser. Something to warm me arse up for something bigger. I do enjoy it vaginally, that coldness sliding over my clit, sliding into my wetness... it feels good, and if angled just right, the top pearl slides right over my g-spot making for a very...er... interesting time!!!!! I also enjoyed this toy vaginally with a vibrator pressed up hard against its base. Since this toy is on the smaller size, it did vibrate quite nicely, but again with the thinness of it, it really did not do anything for me.

Now for the points:
Scent: Nope. But if you have largish nostrils, I am sure you can put this up your nose if you are so inclined to get a better smell.
Tastes: ummm... how would you say glass tastes? Personally I found it tastes a little like pomegranates as that was the flavour of the lube I used when I played with it vaginally.
Looks: When you look at it far away it looks perfect!!! But when you get it close you realize it is still small. But it is pretty!!! It is perfect glass, no bubbles in the glass itself.
Lubes: olive oil, silicone, water based... whatever tickles your fancy depending on which room you are in as it is glass... all will work!!!
Cleaning: Wash with hot water and antibacterial soap, rinse WELL. I'd not suggest tossing this into the dish washer as it is smaller. You would run the risk of having it bounce unless you put in it that contraption where you can put the lid down where small utensils would go. Air dry is what I'd recommend.
Movement while wearing: You can walk abouts wearing these, they are thin remember... so remember to squeeze tight and hold them in place!!! Word to the wise? Yoga and Pleasure Pearls? Do not mix.

Personally, and I must stress personally here, I do not feel this toy is for those who have experienced anal sex on a semi-frequent basis, or who have enjoyed anal toys in the past. This is thin. And if you are anything like me where it is more that sensation of being stretched you enjoy, this won't give you that.

If you are new to anal, and as I said never more than a finger in your back side... this is the toy for you!!! It would be perfect!!!!!! Those pearls... I bought the glass probe and it is the big big big brother of the Pleasure Pearls!!! But your body taking each pearl...and then relaxing around that neck that connects each pearl, then another pearl... I wish I could take me arse back in time and start anal with this toy!!!! For the probe does not have the spacing that the pearls do between each bubble.

I am giving this toy a personal score of 3/5 simply because it does give me some pleasure but does not hit the spot just right that I was hoping it would. However, I need to make certain that this is said. I am not giving it a poor grade because it is a bad toy. I have recommended it to many of my blog readers who have been interested in beginning anal play and also to many friends who have been anal curious as well. It is just not a toy for my backside.

It's still the cutest little toy that I ever did see, and one of those toys that when you look at from afar would be one of the greatest anal toys ever. But, when it gets up close (or in you!!) really doesn't do much for you.

I'd still strongly suggest this to someone who is new to anal play.

I've actually cleaned mine and put it in the box for never to be used again toys. Which makes me sad. For it is still in my opinion an amazingly designed toy. I just wish it was maybe two or three times the size!!!
