The Nexus Titus is a male prostate massager. It is made of a hard plastic and is ribbed for its entire length. As with all anal toys, lots of lube is needed. I recently found lube injectors at a local shop and highly recommend the injector for getting a good amount of lube "up there". Because of the ribs, I find insertion needs to be a little slower than with my other toys. Each rib is truly felt as it enters, and it is a very different feeling if you have never used a ribbed toy before. On the plus side, the ribs do add a lot of stimulation, so slow down and enjoy the experience. The ribs also result in more stimulation of the sphincter. The massager has a very distinct curve which adds more downward pressure than other toys in the Nexus line. Although it could be used by anyone with a prostate, I would recommend it for someone who has some experience, since it can be a little difficult to insert and use.
The Titus is made out of a food grade, hypo-allergenic, latex free, phthalates free plastic. It is very firm and there is no give to the toy at all. There are no visible seams and the plastic creates a slight drag when you slide your finger over it. It also contains a stainless steel ball in the base to stimulate the perineum. The ball is removable with a special included tool for cleaning. There was no odor when it first arrived. The hardness of the plastic and the ribs do take some getting used to. The sharp curve and hooked end make insertion a little more difficult than the other toys in the Nexus line. The curve and hook also add a lot more pressure on the prostate than the other toys.
The Nexus Titus is 4 1/2 inches long, with an insertable length of 3 1/2 inches. The diameter of the largest part is 1 1/8 inches. The end has a handle that is large enough to make sure it doesn't get lost, as well as a stainless steel ball for stimulating the perineum. The shaft tapers to a neck size of 5/8th of an inch. The Titus has a distinctive curve that is different from other products in the Nexus line. As can been seen in the picture, next to the Neo the curve is much more pronounced on the Titus. This curve makes insertion a little more difficult and also adds a lot of pressure on the prostate. The shape and look are not realistic.
The Titus is not a toy that I use frequently. Although it is smaller in diameter then the Excel, the curve and the ribs make if a little more difficult to insert. The curve of the the Titus is supposed to make it follow the curve of the anal canal, and result in ease of use. Maybe it's just me but that isn't the way mine curves. I have to shift into different positions while inserting to get it to follow "my curve". The curve also adds a lot of pressure on the prostate which I have to be in the right mood to enjoy. Sometimes the pressure can be a little too much and over stimulate me. When that happens, I find it hard to maintain an erection.
The Titus is easy to take care of. It can be washed with hot soapy water, paying attention to the ribs to make sure nothing is hiding there. It can then be wiped down with isopropyl alcohol which will sanitize it for future uses. We don't share toys and I don't recommend sharing this unless you use a toy cover or condom every time. We keep all of our toys in white cotton socks which are then stored in our toy bags (yes for some reason we have several bags). Any lube can be used with the Titus, but we use water based products. We find oil based lubes very messy to clean up, and silicone lubes seem to stain sheets easily.
As I have stated before, the Titus is not a toy I go to frequently. I really need to be relaxed and in the right mindset. With that said, when the mood is right the Titus can give you a feeling that is very intense. Not only do the ribs stimulate the opening of the anal canal, the curve adds a lot of pressure on the prostate that will provide an incredibly strong and intense orgasm. When it hits the right spots at the right time, I find it so intense I need to wait until my legs stop shaking before I can move.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it19 days after original review
I have owned the Nexus Titus for over a year. I still enjoy it when the mood strikes. It still packs a punch.
