Use

The Nexus Titus is a formidable foe - intent on one goal and one goal only. That goal? Seek, target and massage(/pound) the prostate. Like most other entries in the Nexus prostate massager line, the Titus features a ball bearing as a taint massager, and a gently swooping handle that helps to act as a pivot point for the movement that happens to the Titus with the tightening and relaxing of the anus. While the Titus could certainly find a home in a female bodied person's behind, its over all size (both girth and overall volume) are modest at best, so without a prostate to massage the Titus is simply modest warm-up plug at best.

Material / Texture

The Nexus Titus is made of a hard plastic material, with a stainless steel ball bearing. It can be used with any type of lube, although oil based lubes should be avoided because repeated or prolonged exposure could wear down the material. The plastic, while hard, has a bit of a texture to it - almost like rough corrugated cardboard surface. It's not bumpy, just it has a bit of a velvet finish to it. Being hard plastic, the Titus is very un-accommodating when being nestled into place, so while the toy is slender, it does require a bit of warm up/going slowly.

Design / Shape / Size

The Nexus Titus is, unmistakably, a prostate massager. Unlike other nexus prostate massagers with more subtle curves, the Titus features a decent curve and a rounded head that can apply directed and firm prostate pressing with every contraction. Like most good prostate massagers, the Titus stays put despite flexing and releasing and despite its small size. The taint massager on this Nexus toy is nice in that it does not press heavily into the taint, which can be a huge bonus to the Titus in comparison to something like the Nexus Excel. The major drawback to Titus' design is the series of ridges along the toy. These ridges don't add much to the sensation of the toy, except for possibly being a bit irritating during insertion or removal, but they sure do like to collect stuff, which is the main issue. Like, seriously - why is it that *I* know ridges like that are going to be trouble in an anal toy, but Nexus, who are arguably experts on the subject of anal toys, seem to think it's a dandy idea. It makes no sense to me.

Performance

My prostate owning partner summarized the Titus as "not screwing around"; in that it targeted and drummed against the prostate like a moth to a flame, bypassing any feelings of pleasure that might arise from the taint massage or "full" sensation of wearing something (anything) in his ass. He also went onto explain that it was easier to sit comfortably and engage in other forms of play and stimulation while wearing the Titus if he was sufficiently relaxed (so that it wasn't pressing his prostate), but was soon as he tensed at all (or got excited, or whatever...) it ruthlessly and mercilessly drummed on that spot.

Care and Maintenance

Being hard plastic, the Titus can be soaked in a 10% bleach solution to achieve a good degree of sanitization if required. Otherwise, remove the ball bearing (using the included removal tool) and wash the whole thing well with soap and water (holding off on replacing the ball bearing till everything is dry). Best to give it a clean up after use, and a quick rinse before use.

The ribs do not look very comfy but I do like the shape of this one.
    Wonderful review.

Sounds like it can easily be "too much". Like you I can't understand the appeal of putting hard ridges on anal toys - it just isn't comfortable and gets messy. A few bulges help you to hold onto it, but the ridges are no-plus things.

    Great review as always.
