The Metal Worx Teazer by Pipedreams is a hefty, solid steel anal plug with a spherical base. Its tapered tip and super smooth texture, combined with just a bit of lubricant, enable insertion with ease. Since this plug is stiff and firm, it will not bend and cater to the natural curvature of your insides. Your muscles and tissues will have to adjust to its shape, so be sure to go at your own (or your partner's own) pace. Take your time and be patient. Furthermore, because of its rigidity and its lack of give, I suspect it would not be very comfortable for wearing anally during penetrative vaginal sex.

This toy is a great option for anyone who is interested in anal play and is looking for a slightly larger step up from introductory plugs, made of a somewhat more advanced material. Anyone who owns an anus will be delighted by this cool, sleek plug!

Also, though the curve is not exactly right for it, this plug can certainly be turned "upside down" and used as a vaginal insertable (after sterilizing, of course). I prefer shorter toys, so its length is comfortable for me and my g-spot loves firm toys with narrow necks and bulbous ends!

All items in the Metal Worx line are cast in high-quality steel and hand-polished to a glossy, almost mirror-like shine. The metal material is cool, non-porous, and easy to clean. The Teazer is waterproof, hypoallergenic, and latex- and phthalates-free. There is no taste or odor to the material. Steel is excellent for temperature play. You can place the item in the refrigerator or in warm water and experiment with the different sensations! With just a few small drops of lubricant, this firm plug becomes incredibly slick, making insertion a breeze.

While the surface of the Teazer is seamless, it unfortunately does have some small flaws directly out of the package. They are not significant enough to be noticeable while the toy is in use, but they are visible upon closer inspection. There are some shallow dents, as well as a small nick here and there. You may want to take care not to scratch or dent the surface any more.

The Teazer is shockingly heavy for its size, weighing in at a solid pound. It's easily the heaviest toy I own. It is approximately 5 3/4" in length from end to end, with about 4" of insertable length. At the tip, it is tapered to slightly smaller than a 1/2", about the size of the end of my pinky finger. It widens to about 1 1/4" at its widest, before narrowing to a neck that is less than 1/2". The bulb on the end is ever so slightly larger the widest part of the shaft, at about 1 3/8". The base is extremely comfortable. It doesn't have any sharp edges or shapes that might pinch or bind the delicate skin between your cheeks. However, I do wish it was slightly more oblong or elongated in shape so that I didn't have to be concerned about its round form slipping right in after the body of the toy.

Inserting this toy is a pure pleasure, smooth and simple. Its weight is wonderfully noticeable inside of you if you walk around with it in and sitting on the rounded base is perfectly comfortable. Plugs are meant to be worn for a sense of fullness and stretch and it certainly accomplishes that feat beautifully. It is not intended for thrusting and, as such, that is probably not a fantastic option with this toy because of its stiffness, its lack of texture for added stimulation, and its small, spherical base that doesn't provide much room for gripping and manipulation.

It is wonderful for solo or partnered play, especially in preparation for a larger insertion. However, due to the design of the Teazer's base, I would not recommend it for extended or unattended wear. For example, you may find a certain appeal in the idea of wearing your plug to bed. I would not recommend that with this toy, because of its base and because of its rigidity. Aside from potentially bruising or damaging yourself as you move around in your sleep, the spherical base of this toy will do little to prevent the plug from slipping in and taking a trip up your gastrointestinal tract. Unlike your vagina, which ends at the cervix, thus preventing insertable items from being lost, the end of your digestive tract begins at your anus and ends at your mouth (or vice versa, normally). Items inserted into your ass can and will get lost if you're not careful, necessitating a trip to the emergency room, which may involve surgical removal or manual removal with a heaping side order of muscle relaxants.

Fortunately, if you like the idea of wearing your plug around, for the sensation of fullness or the thrill of preparing yourself for your partner, there are plenty of lovely, intermediate alternatives, such as the Ryder or the Non-skid Plug. They are of comparable size, but have more flex to them, as well as a more secure base.

This toy is remarkably easy to care for. Its smooth surface and easy curves mean that there are no nooks and crannies to worry about. It does not attract dust or hair. A simple rinse with soap and water or a toy wipe will shine the Teazer right up. Avoid abrasive cleansers to prevent scratching.

If you intend to share it or would otherwise like to sterilize it, you can soak it in a 10% bleach solution, run it through the dishwasher, boil it for three minutes, taking care not to let the hard metal scratch the surface of your pots and pans! I believe that they could be sterilized in a 10% bleach solution It is compatible with any kind of lubricant.

Each item in the Metal Worx line comes in a latching case that you can use to store your toys after use. The case has a cushy nest for the plug to rest in. There are stickers on the top and bottom of the case. The top has the name and photograph of the item inside, while the bottom just has Pipedream's logo, website, and other company information. The boxes make lovely gift packages as well, if you remove the stickers first. The top still says "Pipedreams, Metal Worx", but it's a very attractive and discreet box, for the most part.



For this particular product, I wish that they had included a padded storage pouch. The box is bulky for the size of the plug, making it a little excessive for storage in my small apartment where space is at a premium. Its shiny surface means that it should be protected from abrasions and dings and its solid heft means that it needs to be padded in order to protect other toys from being damaged by it accidentally! For now, I'm storing it in a thin, silky bag in my toy drawer, but I hope to find it a cushier home sometime soon. Its case has become a storage space for my massive collection of lubricant samples!

A more secure base would have earned this toy a full five stars. I took one away for the peace of mind I lose in worrying that the toy will slip smoothly up inside of me without my noticing.
