I enjoy anal sex a lot but had never tried toys made specifically for anal play. I looked at single plugs but wanted more of a variety to start with. I found the Julie Ashton Beginner Anal Kit and liked that it came with 3 plugs {small, medium, large}, a vibrator, and anal lube.

When I received my kit, I noticed that there was a slight smell to them. Nothing overpowering, but it lingered even after cleaning. Since these products are made of rubber, they can be cleaned with water and a bit of soap but should be used with a condom if you are sharing with your partner.

I immediately noticed that the vibrator was large, but not too intimidating compared to others that I own. The plugs had a nice size progression. I began with the small plug. It went in very easily with a dab of lube. Because of its size, it did not stay in by itself. You need to sit on it or hold it in with your hand to keep it there for use as a plug while engaging in sex. It did not give me that "full" feeling that I look for, but it certainly did not hurt. The medium plug also went in easily. Again it didn't stay in by itself. The fit of the medium plug felt a bit snugger but not much. The large plug went in easily for me {probably because I am more experienced with anal but maybe because of using the other plugs} and stayed in with out force or having to sit on it. It felt snug and really turned me on. It stayed in while I had sex with my partner and felt really nice to have both holes filled! The large plug definitely gives you the sensation of double penetration!

The vibrator {runs on 2 AA batteries} is long {7"} and flexible. The intensity of the vibes is strong. I was a little intimidated to use it in my ass, not because of the size but because I thought that maybe the vibes might make me feel like I needed to use the bathroom. I went ahead and tried it in my ass anyway. Since I had already used the plugs and had gotten my asshole looser, the vibrator went in fairly easy with a dab of lube and the vibes felt amazing. Even with the snug fit it was easy to thrust in and out {imitating regular anal sex with a penis} and the added sensations of the vibes provided me with an anal orgasm early on! I did like that I could slow the vibes and make it feel a bit more realistic. After I cleaned the vibrator {really well!}, I tried using it vaginally. The vibrator went in easily and the vibes felt really nice. It hits all the right spots and I actually like it better than some of my others.

Having this kit makes the act of anal sex with your partner a lot easier for beginners. It really helps stretch your asshole to make it easier for a real penis to enter it. And even if you don't have a partner, this is still a great kit to explore anal on your own.
