Fresh jaws nipple clamps - bdsm toy by PHS International - review by Kyra Saunders

These pretty pink metal nipple clamps are lovely to look at, but don't let their feminine color fool you - they have quite a bite to them. These are made in the style of the Japanese "clover" sewing clamps and concentrate a rather intense bite into a small area. Unlike many nipple clamps, these are not very adjustable out of the box; but for those of us who enjoy heavy nipple play, they have the immense advantage of tightening when tugged on. The harder you pull or the more weight you attach, the harder the clamp holds on.

The clamps and chain are well-finished and burr-free. The clamps themselves were easy to operate. No manufacturing defects were evident when I examined my set. (Yes, I advocate carefully examining and cleaning ANY new toy before you actually play with it.) The clamps are fairly light aluminum and the chain is heavier than the clamps themselves. They are definitely too bulky to wear under clothing, despite their pretty color.

The clamps have a textured grip surface that provides a little padding, which mostly ensures that they are not likely to come off sometimes slippery nipples, even with vigorous play. The clamps are easy to clean and care for, though I'd like to advise caution if taking them out of a chilly drawer or suitcase and then laying them on someone's chest. The metal gets quite cold and it can be a bit of a shock which can ruin the mood - unless the shock is what you're going for.

The small rubberized gripping surfaces of the clamps allows them to be attached to my pierced nipples behind the piercing. The swing of the chain attaching the two clamps provide lovely jolts of sensation when dangling or when my partner tugs on it.
