This set of clamps is advertised as being nipple clamps, but there are a few other uses for them. The clamp style can be used, of course, on the nipples, but also on the folds of the skin in the vaginal area, or, in extreme cases, during cock-and-ball-torture (CBT). Because you can't adjust the tightness of the clamp, this is not a set for those with very sensitive nipples or as your first set of clamps. You should never, NEVER, use nipple clamps if you are pregnant or nursing.

When the clamps are attached to the skin, if you pull on the chain, the clamps get tighter. You can also hang small weights from either the chain or the spot on the clamp where the chain attaches or hang a vibrating bullet from the chain for added effects.

As with all clamping toys, though, once you get used to the clamps after they are put on, you will also get the added shock when they are removed.

If you do not have any experience with nipple clamps, though, you should start off with a pair that is not as strict. These clamps can also be used on either female or male nipples. Because they are metal, though, they should not be worn while in the water or while engaging in electricity play. They should also not be worn if they have been sitting on top of a heater, or anywhere that would cause the metal to heat up, because of the risk of burning.

The clamps are made of metal with a chain connecting them together. Each clamp is about the size of a condom wrapper in length, and about the width of two average adult fingers across. The chain connecting them is 12 inches long, providing plenty of slack for hanging weights or gripping between the teeth while the clamps are on your nipples.

The very small pads where the clamps attach to your nipples are a textured rubber, about the same size as the bottom of a standard ball point pen. The rubber pads provide slight protection to your skin from the metal and the textured grips allow the clamps to not slip, even if you play with or tug on the chain. The pressure of the clamps causes you to not feel the texture of the rubber while wearing them.
There is absolutely no smell or taste to the clamps.

Personally, I love the design of these clamps. The rubber pads are the perfect size for anyone with average sized nipples or larger. The clamps are put on very easily, simply by squeezing the end of the clamp like you would to open a clothes pin and allowing the clamps to close over the nipple. You can remove them the same way as you put them on, or, for added fun, if you are experienced with clamps, with a quick, firm yank on the chain.

These clamps are as comfortable to wear as clamps can be and can be worn under clothes without a problem, just not with a bra. The clamps are not adjustable, and should only be used if you have experience with clamps, pain, and BDSM

These clamps are very easy to care for, just a quick wipe down with a little rubbing alcohol. They take up very little space and can be stored any number of ways. Mine are kept either hanging on the wall by the chain in my playroom or in a small pouch in my sock drawer. The clamps are small enough to be stored in a medicine cabinet, jewelry box, or pencil box with other small metal toys.

I have had mine for years, so can't comment on the packaging.
