Fresh Jams Nipple Clamps are a classic clover clamp design, with a 12" chain connecting the two clamps together. The insides of the clamps are padded with rubber, allowing some cushion against your nipple. But don't think the rubber is easy on you; each pad has 7 little bumbs on it, adding even more sensation to the experience. The pressure points themselves are small, only about a quarter inch in diameter, and I think they would be more comfortable if they were slightly bigger.

Made of a light weight metal and weighing only 0.2 pounds, they feel light in your hand, but once they're on, you're sure to feel the weight. To use them, you push at the flare, about halfway down the 3 1/2 inch clamp, and it opens, but only to a half inch. My nipples are relatively large, and while the clamps fit fine, if they were any smaller, they wouldn't have fit at all. These babies come with some bite, and were rather painful when first put on. I would not recommend them for a first time user or those with limited experience in nipple torture. The clamps are not adjustable, and sit pretty snug once in place.

The chain is just the right size, allowing slack between your breasts, but no so loose that it makes a lot of noise, clanging around. The clamps could definitely be worn under clothing, but I wouldn't venture leaving the house; due to the size of the clamps, they would be visible under a t-shirt.

These clamps are made from metal and rate a 9 on the Edenfantasys material safety scale. They are smooth to the touch and I was pleased to see that there were no rough edges on the metal. They are painted a lovely blueish-grey shade, but the paint quickly wears off where the metal rubs against itself.

The clamps themselves are rather large, when compared against other types of clamps, coming in at 3 1/2 inches in length. This is my first set of clover clamps and they are rather stationary on my nipples, compaired to the other style of clamps I've used. It was a different experience; when I bumped against something with them, it would pull on my whole nipple, sending jolts through them.

The chain was the perfect size, as it allowed plenty of slack between my breasts, but not enough that it was in the way. On me, it hung to almost my belly button.

As mentioned above the clamps only open to 1/2 inch, so make sure your nipple will fit in that space. On my nipples they closed down pretty far, and I'm guessing it was about half the distance. The pressure is intense, and took some time to get used to. Taking them off was no more painful than any other clamp. But be warned, if you've never worn clamps before, it will hurt when you remove them, a sharp, stinging pain that lasts only a few moments as the blood rushes in to the tip of your nipple. Be prepared when it happens.

The clamp is a traditional clover clamp with a spring mechanism which holds it together. They are not adjustable, and clamp tighly around the nipple. The chain adds extra weight, causing them to pull even tighter. If the chain is tugged, it tightens the clamp even more.

These clamps are made of metal, and therefore easy to clean. If mine come in contact with body fluids, I simply wipe them hot water and let them air dry.

As far as storage, they are compact, and can be kept in something as small as a ziploc bag in a storage chest.

The clamps are packaged in a clear, plastic container, but contain no directions.

I was unsure about these the first time I put them on, but I SO glad I was convinced to leave them on because they definitely became worth the initial pain.

The first night I wore these I did not think I was going to be able to tolerate theclamps, even though my husband and I have been playing with nipple torture for the last 4 or 5 months, and I have always enjoyed rough nipple play. As soon as the clamps were on, the pain was quick and intense. Within a few minutes, I told him I thought they might need to come off. At that point, he started playing with my nipples, gently around the clamp, and the pain quickly morphed into pleasure. They ended up staying on for the next 20 or more minutes.

They were tight enough on me that I did not want the chain pulled, at least not for the first few wears. I could see where it could be used to "anchor" someone to something, because as they pulled alway, the strain on their nipples would become very hard and painful.
