I purchased this gag as a test of a breathable ball gag, and it's a pretty great starter ball gag. If you're interested in trying BDSM, it's a comfortable and not intimidating way to try gags before looking for something more specialized.

The two drawbacks from usage are the size of the ball and the lack of a quick release strap. The ball is a bit big, so it can be hard to get past the teeth. The strap has a simple buckle, so although it can be released reasonably easy, there's no quick release strap that some people prefer.

The positives for use are that it'll fit most faces and once past the teeth, most mouths. The strap is around 25-26" in length, so it can fit around most heads. Although it can be a bit difficult to get it past the teeth, once in it fits comfortably.

The design is simple, but it's also quite functional. The ball portion of the gag is made of smooth plastic that has holes to allow for better airflow. Like many ball gags with holes, it can stimulate a bit more drool than a similar sized solid ball, but not to a major level. Although the size of the ball can be a bit intimidating, it does end up fitting most mouths. My partner has a smaller mouth, but she was able to wear it after a bit of difficulty getting it between her teeth. This can cause some jaw discomfort from long term wear, as the jaw is open a bit more than many gags.

The straps hold up to light tugging, so they're effective at preventing the gag from falling or being pushed out. They are made of vinyl, which is sturdy and easy to clean (especially with the drool issue). The size options already on the straps are exceptional. It has a large numbers of holes that are spaced about 1/2" apart, which should give you a good starting point and fit reasonably well. If that doesn't work, adding another hole in between two holes can be done pretty easily with most sharp objects.

I came in a bit skeptical because of the low cost and appearance of flimsiness, but testing showed me that it holds up quite nicely. The ball was solid and held up to biting without scratching or scuffing. Once past the teeth, it also fits reasonably comfortably in the mouth for short periods. I was able to find settings that fit both my larger head and my partner's smaller head, which was a nice surprise. If you're looking into a starter gag, or trying one with holes, I'd definitely recommend it. It's not the most attractive of gags, but it will get the job done and is quite a bargain

Care and maintenance is pretty easy. Rinsing the straps and drying them gently cleans off any residual drool. The ball can be cleaned out with soap and running water, although you might want to be sure you get all the soap out to avoid soapy taste. I keep it stored on a wooden shelf with the other toys to prevent fuzz. If you keep it with fabrics, it might be a good idea to rinse it before insertion.
