If you are just getting into bondage and BDSM, or are a novice to such activities this is the item for you. I bought this ball gag as a fullfilment to a small fantasy of mine. I can say I was happy with this purchase after getting it in which was short lived due to my small mouth, but we are working on it.

The ball does have a slight give to it that can be pressed firmly to give a little more room, but it does bounce back so it will stretch your jaw muscles. Our first session only lasted 5 minutes without any sexual acts until we got a little more used to it. The second time was a bit easier and more comfortable. Not by much, but it is worth the small discomfort as it is fun.

The design is very nice. The breathable ball is made of a smooth plastic with holes punched out allowing the breath and drool to escape to help protect you from drowning in your own fluids. The rivits that bind the material seem well done. I would pull on them or test their strength but for the purpose of their use, they are very good. The straps themselves are in the same category; a sturdy vinyl type material that is flexible and sturdy. But don't try to use them as reigns on a horse, they might fail.

As stated above, the ball was the only hang up for us as my mouth is too small but not hers. So I can't complain in that department as I have a freakishly small mouth.

As for the head size, once we figured out how it went on, the size was perfect. We just went up three holes and it fit. I might punch a hole between three and four as three is snug and four is a bit loose. But the fit is good. I'm just not happy with it being too tight but I guess that's the purpose of it; a bit uncomfortable. But I digress. The clasps that secure the gag can pull at hair a bit if you aren't careful.

For ball gags, this is what I expected and wanted. It is a nice easy color without all the crazy extravagant metals bars and weird stuff that might be too much for the light-sided bondage cravers. The experience we had with this ball was that we were happy with it. It performed well with the thought and feeling of being fully gagged, but it's soothing in the fact that you can get words out and breathe if need be.
