Fashion and Fetish

On the whole the cuffs definitely added something but I'm still undecided. A good product for beginners and those more experienced, perhaps a bit too "light".

Use

These cuffs are ideal for a couple who are just experimenting with some light bondage, providing relative comfort with great utility. They are extremely sturdy, at least in our experience, and the large D-ring offers the use of a whole variety of restraining locks/clasps meaning that you don't need any sort of special equipment to use them.

A simple leather strip of about half a metre in length and bound in a tight knot works perfectly, you could even use a belt if you're in a rush. The second practical aspect of these restraints is that they can be worn as a fashion accessory.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

The design is very neat and simple, it doesn't waste time with needless frills which is something that a lot of light bondage material tends to do. On the whole subtlety is the watchword with this design, despite the glaring purple fur. About the only thing I would have against it is that after a few uses I found the fur padding had begun to tear, admittedly those were some very intense uses.

For a faux fur it is surprisingly comfortable and as a whole provides a much better experience for both parties, chafing is often needlessly painful, does discourage repeat attempts and can be embarrassing to explain. The leather is also malleable, while it isn't soft by any stretch of the imagination it does allow a certain amount of give, again something that couples just starting out might value.

The fit is more appropriate for small wrists, my partner has very dainty(but surprisingly strong) wrists and I had no trouble getting the cuffs affixed tightly.

Performance

By in large the performance was exactly what we expected, as a couple we've only been using restraints for a few months and these cuffs are exactly what we wanted. Upon purchase I made sure to test just how well the D-ring was secured by attempting to tear it off, better to be safe than sorry while attempting some suspension, and after a few seconds with only a minor application of force I noticed some definite give but then these are designed for light play. Thankfully I wasn't using them on myself and they've proven appropriately strong for my partner.

Performance during sex was perfect for us, the fur negated the chafing effect and allowed for plenty of trashing about and repeated tightening without undue discomfort. The best function of performance was, somewhat surprisingly, in the foreplay before using them as restraints. With the right outfit they look extremely alluring.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning was fairly typical for the material. A gentle cleaning with a wet cloth for the fur, no soap, and then use a hair dryer to... dry. Be mindful that applying too much heat too fast will damage the leather irrevocably. The leather is best cleaned using slightly damp, with cold and non soapy water, cloth. It had obviously been pretreated somewhat to avoid staining which is a plus.

Storage is again, very typical of the material. A cool and dry place, basically most toy chests.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Experience

These are definitely designed for light play, my partner enjoys fighting quite a bit during any bondage and she noted that from time to time she felt as though they were a little too malleable. This was usually remedied by tightening them and keeping her arms even more restrained.
