Y-style tweezers with clit clamp - y style clit and nipple clamps discontinued by PHS International - review by Alan & Michele

These Y-style tweezer clamps from PHS International are designed for men or women who like their nipples pinched and tugged, with an additional clamp that can be used on the clitoris or foreskin. That third clamp can be easily removed, and the pressure can be adjusted on all of them, for sensations ranging from a mild squeeze to pinching pain. They may not be for everyone though, as the adjuster rings are tight and can be a bit difficult to slide.

The chains and related hardware are made of high-gloss metal, and it comes in pink, black, or silver. There are smooth, latex-free, synthetic rubber cushions on the tips of the clamps to keep them from cutting into the skin during use. The rubber tips are pliable if you remove them, but they're thin enough that the hardness of the tweezers is felt far more than any "cushion" effect during use.

Each clamp is roughly 3" long and shaped like tweezers with inward-curved tips. Their openings are 1/2" wide and can be spread out to about 3/4" to fit on larger nipples. On the other end of the spectrum, they can be tightened down to 1/8" for smaller nipples. Two of the clamps are attached to one another by a 12.5" long chain. A second chain of the same length is attached in the center of that one via a ring and a small pinch clasp, with the clit clamp on the other end of it. Overall, considering the length of the clamps too, this gives you around 2' of length to reach from the nipples to the crotch... more than enough for most people.



The pinch clasp is very easy to work, so there's no problem removing the clit clamp if you want to wear only the nipple ones. You could even use your imagination to find other things, such as decorative charms, to dangle from the clasp instead.

There is a small ring at the base of each clamp that allows you to tighten them by sliding the ring toward the tip of the clamp, or loosen them by sliding it back down to the base. You may find it easier to attach the clamps on a nipple or clit that is already erect but, either way, it can take some patience to get them adjusted since the rings are tight and don't move all that easily. Applying the clit clamp may be more difficult, particularly if the area is wet, so beginners may need a partner to assist them. The chains are rather weighty and provide a pleasurable tug on whatever is clamped when the wearer moves. How well the clamps stay in place will depend largely on how tight you make them.

The rubber tips stay firmly attached, even if you tug on the clamps. With a little effort you can remove these tips if you're hoping for clamps that will give a biting variety of pain, but beware of the v-cut ends of metal underneath which could do some real damage:

You can clean these with soap and water, toy cleaner, or even just an alcohol wipe.

It comes in a round, clear plastic clamshell-type package that pulls apart from the top, with a clear plastic tray inside that holds the clamp set in display formation. The removable paper insert has little more than the company's logo and some manufacturing info, with no instructions at all. Most people will be able to figure out how to use the clamps after a few moments of fiddling with them though, so this shouldn't be an issue. The package is sturdy enough and stays shut well enough to use for storage, and if you remove the insert and the tray there's a lot of extra room to store a few other small items in it too. Otherwise, you can store them pretty much anywhere you want, as long as no harsh chemicals or excessive heat come in contact with the tips.

These didn't exactly work right for me. The rings didn't slide easily for me, so I had to have 'Chele help me get them on, only to have them fall off when I moved around. I figure this was due either to them not fitting tight enough on my little man nubs, or my unwillingness to let her try to smash them more from some other direction. Either way, no fit. I'd rate them as 5 stars based solely on how they looked on her, though. There's something about a lady in chains...

It was his unwillingness; I could have tightened them on him more but I guessed that "Enough!" was his version of a safe word that night.

On my nipples they fit well enough to give a pinching sensation that could be ramped up to real pain if I tightened them more, and they stay on no matter how I move. They do come off if too much direct tugging is going on, which of course leaves that pleasant tingle behind, but just moving/walking around with the chain's weight isn't enough to make them let go. I haven't had as much luck with the clit clamp, though. I'm just not fond of much pinching there, so I have never managed to make that one tight enough to stay in place long.

My one bitch about the set is that the rings really don't slide as well as the ones on most other clamps I've played with do. I can work these with one hand, but just barely, and that's only on the nipple clamps. The clit clamp's ring must be smaller or something, because that one takes both hands to move, and even then it's difficult. For those reasons I'm going to have to counter the 5-star rating Alan wants to give this set. I think the too-tight adjuster rings are something that's going to frustrate a lot of buyers, especially if they're new to clamps.
