The Y-style tweezers with clit clamp made by PHS International are designed for experienced BDSM enthusiasts. The clit clamp was impossible to apply solo so that being said these would be best for couple's play, since the best use for them is a slight pull during intercourse causing a slightly painful but enjoyable experience. You could also remove the clit clamp for solo play or for use on a male partner. They also don't lend themselves to any use other than the one they were designed for so if you are looking for multipurpose clamps these aren't it.

The Y-style tweezers and clit clamp are made from metal, giving them a material safety rating of 9. Overall they seemed pretty safe to me as long as they are used for their intended purpose. Each length of chain is about a foot and a half long so you do need to take care that they don't wrap around your neck during use because the metal could be quite painful and/or lead to a horrible accident. They do have small hard plastic tips on the ends of the tweezers, that can lead to pinching. These are not meant to be removed and the tweezers could cause quite the injury if they were due to the sharp edges that lay underneath. The matte black color is perfect for most BDSM scenarios but they are also available in silver and even pink for those who enjoy fun colors.

The design isn't perfectly executed since the matte black chain is a link style that tends to catch on itself, but does allow for the most flexibility. The distance from each nipple clamp is about a foot and half, as is the length from the center point to the clit clamp. The matte black tweezers are about 3 inches long and spread to about a half inch. These should fit most anyone, even those with large nipples. Trying to put them on was a bit of a challenge, it was almost impossible to get the clamps just right, since the sliding o-rings don't allow for slight adjustments and have a tendency to go further than desired when pushed one way or another. They are very easy to overtighten, so care should be taken when applying them, especially when applying them to a partner.

The only controls on the clamps were the o-rings that are used to control the tension, and they were hard to get just right. They would either get too tight, or not tight enough which caused the whole clamp to pop off. Due to the difficulty of putting the clamps on most of the excitement was gone by the time I got them just right. They also did not stay on very well at all, one slightly hard tug from my partner and they popped right off. However they do serve their purpose and are quick to provide the desired pressure and even a sting of pain when the chain is tugged on.

The toy is extremely easy to clean with just simple soap and water or my preferred method of a sanitizing wipe. They are a bit noisy when moving around though so keep that in mind when you decide where and how to store them. I have a special drawer for my toys so I simply placed them in a small velvet bag I had on hand and dropped them in the drawer.

The minimal packaging was nicely done, but it does scream SEX TOY so if you don't want the neighbors or roommates to know what you bought then you might want to take care with placing it in the trash. The packaging is not designed for storage and the toy was very hard to put back in once I had removed it. It also did not include instructions so if you have never worn a clamp you may want to look up how to best apply them before use.

Clamps are a great addition to any BDSM repertoire, however caution should be taken if you are not experienced with their use. Take care not to over tighten and don't leave them on for long periods. If you experience sharp pain, swelling, or any other abnormality you should remove them immediately. Always take the time to talk with your partner; these might be a good choice for you or they may not be it is all about what you and your partner enjoy.

The overall experience with this toy wasn't the greatest. It totally killed what started out as a fun evening, after surprising my partner with the toy when he came home from work. My partner and I both had trouble getting the clips to stay on either one of us and ended up giving up because the excitement was gone and frustration had set in.
