These cuffs are intended to be used as ankle cuffs, but they're versatile enough that they could be used as either wrist or ankle cuffs, as the size range they'll fit is fairly large. They'd work wonderfully for bondage from the lightest slap and tickle, right on up to holding someone immobile, spread eagle, during a heavy scene. They're soft and gentle enough for a beginner, and strong enough for a heavy player. They could be used in just about any type of bondage, as long as they won't be exposed to a lot of water. Leather and water don't get along well unless you treat the leather right away, and the water could damage the faux fur and make it less soft. They're even elegant enough that you could wear them out to a fetish club or a play party to show them off.

When I first opened the box, I was in awe of the leather used in these cuffs. It was so soft and supple, without being weak. I tested them by hooking the tethers I had to a metal hand rail, then putting the cuffs around my lower arms and throwing my body weight against them. With the hardest yank, I tore the metal hook out of my double layered denim tethers, and the cuffs didn't even budge. There are no stress marks on the leather, and the fasteners are all exactly as they should be. The padding in the cuffs also kept me completely comfortable. Unfortunately, they couldn't protect my butt when the tether gave way. I'd say they'll hold their own for a long time to come.

They will fit ankles from 5 inches to 10.5 inches in circumference comfortably, so they should be acceptable for most users.

The lining of the cuffs is soft and luxurious, and the leather smells delicious.

I found the cuffs to be extremely comfortable and well made. I found it easy enough to put them on one handed, so the clasps are pretty easy to work. They adjust pretty well, and the holes are spaced well enough that if you need to go to the next hole up, it gives you just enough room for comfort without being loose. They can be used as intended as ankle cuffs, but they can also be fastened around most parts of the arms. So if the goal is to really immobilize someone, several pairs of these could be used on arms and ankles to hold them still. They could also be hooked together with a short chain to serve as hobbles, or hooked to a spreader bar to hold the legs apart. I think they could also be incorporated into rope bondage if you so desire, to prevent needing to wrap the rope around the ankles.
