Trustex flavored condoms - male condom discontinued by Line One Laboratories, Inc - review by sweetiejo

I was excited to get these to spice up some bedroom safety. I like to do a trick where you put a condom on using only your mouth. Like many out there the taste of latex and rubber is not one of my favorites. When I first ordered I thought that 3 bucks wasn't too bad of a deal for a delicious treat to keep my man happy. This was not the case.

First impression of these was the color was great. The pretty purple color caught my attention right from the start. The condom comes in small square box similar to that of any other condom brand. Once you open this you gets a small square package just like any other brand of condoms. The first thing I noticed was the scent. when you first rip open the condom package there is actually a very nice grape scent. This is the only pleasurable aspect of these condoms.

I usually don't have a problem with any latex condom, unless mint is involved. I found that after using these condoms I had a lot of irritation. I found that whatever Trustex used for the flavoring of these caused irritation after use, so once was enough for me. Now onto the reason why I bought them, the flavor. They had a taste that I remembered from my childhood....cough syrup. Not even the good kind but cheap nasty grape flavored cough syrup. Instead of a crisp sweet flavor I got a mouthful of bitter fake fruit. For three dollars for one I would avoid these like a bad cough.

I wanted something fun, but instead I got the taste of bad fruit. I would like to try other versions of these. They were a good condom, they were sturdy and didn't break. Other flavors that were less closely related to medicine could be done easily well. For the kind I got, don't go that way.

I have given out a few more of the flavors a whirl and love them. Banana has turned out to be killer great. It doesn't taste like the actual fruit banana but it does have that yummy flavor similar to that of a banana flavored Laffy Taffy. (my favorite candy ever). The Mint flavored one is also a nice refreshing change from the horrid grape. The mint taste similar to a sweet mint lip gloss, which i find very refreshing, it also did not leave any tingling on the down under parts. Clean up with these is a breeze, but be warned if you don't scrub a little you may end up smelling like a nice stick of gum, or fruit salad on your male/female parts. Overall though the other flavors have turned out to be worth the money in my book.
