O2 Flurry - realistic dildo discontinued by Tantus - review by jamiewalsh

The O2 Flurry is perfect for vaginal penetration, and it works very well with O-ring harnesses. I'm not into anal play, but I'd imagine that one would need to be pretty experienced if they wanted to use the Flurry anally - it is rather hefty. Otherwise, the flared base should prove to be pretty useful.

The Flurry is made of 100% premium hypoallergenic silicone, and Tantus is big on announcing this on the product packaging. It's made of a dual density silicone, meaning that the outer layer is pretty soft and squishy, while the inside layer is constructed of a much firmer silicone. This makes the Flurry feel pretty realistic feeling, which is great.

With the exception of the textured head, the rest of the Flurry is one smooth ride. Given the size of this thing, I considered this to be a good thing - additional texture might be overkill. Certainly there are lots of much bigger dildos around, but do not mistake the Flurry to be small.

The toy is odorless, but it will carry faint traces of whatever you cleaned it with. I washed mine with a gentle soap that smells like white flowers, so it's now happily sitting in its box smelling like a white flower. Very cute.

The Flurry is straight. Very straight. Entirely straight. Considering that the toy is generally firm, I didn't quite think this was a good idea. Worn in a harness, the overwhelming straightness of the Flurry made thrusting a bit awkward, and a certain amount of positioning was needed if I wanted it to go all the way in.

Aside from this, I really liked the Flurry. The two ridges at the head are surprisingly good at stimulating the G-spot, and while smaller than many other dildos, I personally thought the size was sufficiently filling. The toy is hardly discreet; anyone who sees it is going to know its exact use, but that wouldn't be a big deal because it is just so pretty! I could wax lyrical about how aesthetically pleasing the simple design is.

The Flurry was used with my Theo Spareparts harness. It sat very well inside the O-ring, and didn't move around much at all unless I really twisted my hips, which made me look really stupid. Cheap thrills.

The firmness of the toy ensured that it didn't droop downwards at all, and also made thrusting very satisfying. However, the entire toy might feel like it's slipping downwards if your harness isn't secured well enough. This is due to the weight of the toy, so it is important to make sure your harness is adjusted properly unless you want to stop halfway through for readjustment. Not sexy.

Like all pure silicone toys, cleaning is a breeze; just wash with warm water and good soap, throw it in the dishwasher, boil it, or use a mild 10% bleach solution. After cleaning, leave it to air dry and that's it! Do not be absentminded and dry it off with a towel or tissue, unless you want to wash it all over again - the toy, being silicone, is most definitely a lint collecting monster. One would be wise to wash it both before and after use.
