Forcast calls for flurries

The Flurry by Tantus is a fantastic harness compatible dildo made from dual density silicone for a life like feel. While it has a somewhat realistic design to it, the Flurry is offered in three different bright color options. The heads on the Flurry feel fantastic, and if the toy isn't too large for you to handle it can be a great pleasure tool for your toy chest whether you partake in harness play or not.

Use

The Flurry is a wonderful dildo in Tantus' O2 line. Made from dual density silicone the Flurry has a very life-like feel to the phallus shaped dildo. While the dual heads on the Flurry feel fantastic against the G-spot during use despite its straight shaft, the Flurry also has a large flared based that makes it anal safe and harness compatible. This toy can be used by males and females for anything from vaginal or anal penetration to pegging with a harness. Because it is made from 100% silicone it can be completely sanitized to share between users or orifices.

Material / Texture

The Flurry is made from 100% silicone, to be specific being part of Tantus' O2 line, it is made from dual density silicone. Being dual density means that there are two different layers of silicone, each with the different density or firmness to give the toy a more realistic feel to it. The two different layers are marked by different colors, one is purple and one is white. The purple layer is a very firm silicone and makes up the core of the toy, while the white layer is very squishy and makes up the outer layer. Overall the toy is firm but does have some flexibility to the shaft. The outer layer is very squishy and gives quite a bit when squeezed. The tip of the Flurry is where there is the most soft silicone and is the softest part of the dildo.

Silicone is a fantastic toy material, it earns a perfect 10 on the Eden Fantasys' safety scale. Silicone is non-porous, hypo-allergenic, latex and phthalates free. It also repels dirt and bacteria and doesn't fall apart with extended friction. Silicone also retains heat very well, it will warm up to body temperature during use, or you could warm it up before play by soaking it in a glass of warm water.

The Flurry is completely smooth except for the ridges that make up the double-headed phallic tip of the Flurry. The ridges can be felt during use, and even though the toy is straight they can stimulate the G-spot. The silicone itself does have quite a bit of drag to it when rubbed against bare skin, this can be combated by using some water-based lubricant during use. The silicone that the Flurry is made from is also tasteless and odor-free.

Design / Shape / Size

Overall the Flurry is 8 inches long with an insertable length of 7 inches. The Flurry has a somewhat realistic look to the toy, even though it comes in bright non-life like colors. The tip of the toy looks like the head of a penis, then there is a second ridge, almost like a half of another head or a pronounced foreskin fold. The Flurry is 4.25 inches in circumference at the head of the of the Flurry. After the two heads the shaft of the Flurry is completely smooth. The toy is 5 inches in circumference around the middle of the shaft and slightly widens to 5.25 inches in circumference at the base of the shaft. The Flurry is harness compatible so it has a large circular flared base that is 2.75 inches wide. The brand name "Tantus" is stamped into the silicone on the base of the Flurry. Being somewhat phallic shaped the Flurry is far from discreet, anyone who stumbles across this toy is going to be able to tell what its primary use is.

Performance

I have really enjoyed the Flurry, even though it is straight and does not have a G-spot curve to the shaft I find that I can get good G-spot stimulation from the dual head texture on the tip of toy. The two heads also feel really good when thrusting in and out. My partner and I do not partake in harness play so I cannot comment on how the Flurry fits into an o-ring harness but based off the design and reviews of others I imagine it works quite well. I do like the large base of the toy for griping onto and thrusting.

The Flurry is a large toy, I would not recommend it for beginners, yet it is not so girthy that the average user should be turned off by the size of the toy. I do find it to be too long to fully insert it without banging up against my cervix, because of the length of the toy if you do use the Flurry in a harness be aware of how much of the length of the toy your partner can comfortably accommodate.

Because the Flurry has no electrical parts or motors, the toy is completely waterproof, and those who need to worry about discreet play in regards to sound only have to worry about the noises they themselves make when playing with the Flurry.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone dildos are super easy to clean and sanitize. To clean you can wash with warm water and anti-bacterial soap, use your favorite toy cleaner, boil, soak in 10% bleach solution, or even run through the dishwasher. Because silicone is non-porous it can be safely shared between users with proper cleaning and sanitizing. The silicone that the Flurry is made from does attract a lot of lint and pet hair so I find that I must clean before use as well. Due to this it is best to store the Flurry somewhere protected between uses to keep it from getting too fuzzy. Being silicone only water-based lube should be used with the Flurry as silicone-based lubes can gum up the surface of the toy and make it permanently tacky thus ruining the toy.

Packaging

The Flurry comes packaged in a clear plastic box, far from discreet. The front of the package states that it is made from 100% silicone, and that it is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and phthalate free. There is more printing on the sides and back of the box about what makes Tantus toys the best in Tantus' eyes. Inside of the box the Flurry was enclosed in a plastic clam shell like insert.

Experience

The Flurry was my very first Tantus toy. My partner and I do not do any harness play, but I have a Liberator Pulse that I was looking for harness compatible toys to use in. Unfortunately the Flurry was just a little too long to comfortably use in the Pulse, as it kept knocking against my cervix while trying to ride on the Pulse. But I am still very happy with the Flurry and use it without the Pulse, the base on the toy makes it very easy to grip and thrust. It definitely won't be my last Tantus toy.
