Jump On In, the Water's Fine.

The Tsunami is a fun wave like dildo that's very versatile. It can be used anally and vaginally. For some extra vibrating fun, you can even insert a bullet at the bottom! It's silicone and waterproof. If you love texture, this is for you. There's lots of silicone fun for everyone!

Use

Tantus' Tsunami dildo is quite literally waves of fun! It has a fun wavy texture for vaginal use. It even can be used anally because of its flared base. Unlike most dildos, it even has a hole at its base for a bullet. You can play with it straight or put in a bullet for some vibrating fun!

I highly recommend this dildo. Although I wasn't thrilled with the bullet provided, I really liked the dildo itself. You can add any kind of bullet you want so you're not stuck with the one included. Try it out if you're looking for some textured silicone goodness!

Material / Texture

Silicone is a really fun material to play with. Not only is it safe to use, but it feels incredible when inserted. Silicone rates a ten out of ten on Eden Fantasy's Safety Scale. It's hypoallergenic and non-porous. This means you can share it if you sterilize it. To sterilize silicone, simply boil it in some water for a few minutes (always remember to take the bullet out first!). Remember if you switch orifices to clean it to prevent infections. The little bullet is plastic which rates an eight out of ten.

Although I do like silicone in general, I don't love Tantus' silicone as much as other brands. I really love silicone that is squishy and super flexible. Tantus' silicone is fairly firm with little give to it. It can be bent, but it's not as stretchy as other brands I've tried. Does this ruin the toy for me? No, I still like Tsunami's silicone, it's just not as soft as other brands.

Tantus' silicone is smooth with a few waves added for texture. The texture isn't extremely intense, but you should only purchase the Tsunami if you like some texture. One side has waves and the back is fairly smooth. I found no seams on the dildo. It does tend to attract some hair and lint. Be sure to use some lubricant with the Tsunami as there's a bit of drag to it. Tantus' logo is on the bottom of the base.

Design / Shape / Size

The Tsunami is fairly average in size. It is 7 1/4" in length with an insertable length of 6 3/4". It has a diameter of 1 3/4" and a circumference of 5". It should be suitable for average to advanced users because of its texture. A total beginner should try some smoother dildos first.

The bullet is average in size. It's around 3 inches long.

The design of the Tsunami is very unique and versatile. At the bottom of the base there is a hole for a bullet. So, you can use the bullet provided or put in your own. I wasn't too thrilled with the bullet provided. It was simple to use, but not very strong. I ended up using my Salsa bullet which is pretty strong. My only issue with the hole is that the more you push it up, the harder it is to get out (oh wow that was a dirty joke in the making). I'd push them so far up, that it was nearly impossible to get out (laughing my ass of right now). So beware when sticking the bullet inside that it takes some work to get out. I actually ended up preferring the dildo without a bullet. I'm odd, but I prefer my dildos to not vibrate and have something vibrating on my clit.

Performance

The Tsunami can be used anally or vaginally for double the fun! It's too big and texture intense for me anally, so I just used it vaginally. The base is big enough to prevent it from getting sucked up. Not to mention that the dildo is fairly long so it would be quite hard to suck it up all the way. You can also use this dildo with a harness if you wish.

My favorite way to use the Tsunami is to use it vaginally with a vibrator on my clitoris. I didn't like it with the bullet inserted, but I tried it anyway for this review. The vibrations do travel very well throughout the dildo. The vibrations can be felt from the bottom all the way to the top (when I used my stronger Salsa bullet). The bullet provided is moderately powerful but doesn't have the power I crave. When inserted in the Tsunami, you can feel the vibrations but not as much with my Salsa. Simply press the button to operate it. There is only one setting.

I love using the Tsunami on my G-spot. It has a great angled curve with the waves that hit my G-spot just right. This dildo won't work for everyone, but it did for me. I loved using it with a strong vibrator on my clitoris. Although I was worried about the texture before use, I found that I liked the sensation.

Care and Maintenance

The Tsunami is very easy to clean. It is waterproof so a simply wash in warm water and soap will suffice. If you wish to sterilize it boil it (without the bullet) or wash it in a 10% bleach solution. Even though there are lots of waves to it, fluid doesn't get too traped on the dildo. Since this is a silicone toy, don't use a silicone lubricant! It could ruin the silicone.

Packaging

The Tsunami comes in a clear plastic box with Tantus' writing all over it. It certainly isn't discreet. The Tsunami and bullet are stored inside in a clam shell package. No instructions come with the toy. You can reuse it for storage if you want. I store my dildo in a plastic ziploc bag.

    Great review... Thanx...

Use your least favorite water based lube on the bullet before inserting it into the dildo. It'll make it much easier to get the bullet out later, and also it's a great way to use up a lube you don't love.
