Rolling Waves on my G-Spot

The Tantus Tsunami is a sizeable, well-made, delicious dildo with wonderful G-spotting capabilities. It was expensive, but worth it. There will be more Tantus dildoes in my future for sure!

Use

My Tantus Tsunami dildo is my first quality silicone dildo, and it lives up to its good reputation. This toy is made for G-Spot stimulation, and at that it excels. It seems a little large when you first look at it. When in use, the size doesn't seem nearly as much of an issue as the prominant waves that are carved in to it. It is tapered nicely from the base to the top, so as far as the girth goes, it goes in easily with some lube. But it's the waves that catch and drag as they go in, so if you're not used to lots of texture, you might not make it all the way. But the first 3 1/2 inches are quite easy, and even if it's inserted only this far, the Tsunami provides a unique sensation with the less-pronounced wave inside you and the larger ones rubbing at your vulva.

It comes with a bullet vibe (one AAA battery included), and there is a hollowed-out space at the base to insert the vibe. If you apply a little lube to the bullet before you insert it, it will be much easier to remove when you're done. It's nice, for a change, to use the dildo as a vibrator. The included silver bullet has a lavender button on one end which controls it. It has only one speed, medium-strong but quite buzzy. It isn't very noisy. Looking for a little more power, I used it with my We-Vibe Salsa, which fit into it perfectly, and it was much more satisfying. The vibrations traveled to the tip of the dildo quite well, but it's obviously not a dedicated vibrator, so if that's what you're used to, it might feel pretty weak to you as far as vibration strength goes.

The Tsunami could be used for anal sex, but it's a little large and too textured for me, so I didn't use it anally. But I'm sure it has its share of anal fans. It has a good flared base and can be used with most harnesses, and the base also makes a good grip to hold onto.

Material / Texture

The Tsunami is made from Tantus' "ultra-premium, platinum silicone" which they claim is the "finest material found in the adult market." I believe them. It is perfectly firm for thrusting, yet has a nice amount of give, and a soft, smooth exterior. It does have some drag, and because of that and its size and texture, you will want to use a good lubricant before inserting it. It's a silicone toy so always use a water based lube, never a silicone based one, so you don't damage the toy. Some people say that Tantus dildoes are safe to use with some silicone lubes, but I wouldn't risk ruining their beautiful finish. It is definitely a lint magnet!

My Tsunami is in the "Purple Haze" color, and I thought I wanted the "Midnight Purple," but it was sold out when I bought mine, so I went with the former. I'm not disappointed. It is a really beautiful color. The base color is a light-to-medium lavender, which I am no fan of; however, there is a frosty blue overtone set into the lavender that catches the light and makes the toy seem to be a frosty blue color with lavender in the background. I'm glad I have one in this color, and I will get the "Midnight Purple" for my next Tantus toy. I'm sure it won't be long before I do.

The dildo has no noticeable smell, and hasn't picked up any smells from vaginal use.

This toy is probably best suited for advanced users due to its size and texture, but beginners could start slow with it and just use it partially inserted until they are ready to move up. Tantus does have some other toys that would be better suited for beginners.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is about 7 1/4" long from the bottom of the base to the tip, with about almost 7" of that being insertable. Most G-spots don't require 7" of dildo to reach them, so for G-spot use, you probably won't be inserting it all the way. It's nice to have that extra length, though, for those who like it, or who are in the mood for deep and bumpy penetration. The girth is also substantial, ranging from 4" at the tip to 5" around the largest "wave." The circumference around the bottom of the shaft, just above the base, is 4 1/2".

The waves that provide the texture wrap around the shaft at a downward angle, most pronounced on the front of the dildo and less pronounced and closer together on the back. These waves rub against the G-spot and labia, creating some pretty powerful stimulation. You definitely want to make sure you are a fan of this type of texture before buying this expensive dildo. If you are a fan, hold on! You're in for the waves of your life.

Performance

If you like size, and you like texture (and I like both), this is going to give you a really great experience. The feeling of those waves dragging along the labia, and the head bumping against the G-spot, kicks it up yet another notch in terms of pleasure. It is a dildo that is well-designed for female pleasure. I'm sure there are a lot of men who are fans of the Tsunami also.

Care and Maintenance

Because this dildo is silicone, which rates a perfect 10 for safety on Eden's Materials Guide, it can be cleaned with soap and water, toy spray or wipes, or it can be boiled (without the bullet inside) or put through a dishwasher cycle for extra sterilization.

You should never use silicone lubricant with this toy, and store it in a bag or its box, away from other silicone toys.
