Silk large - strap-on dildo by Tantus - review by Snowsparkle

I prefer smooth, non-realistic toys, and the Silk dildo by Tantus fits the bill completely.

The Silk is made of medical grade silicone, which is very easy to clean. It can even be disinfected by boiling. The real plus side to the material, though, is the consistency it gives the dildo: firm, yet springy enough to bend with your body as you squirm and shift.

The only downsides to the silicone material are very minor compared to its many positives. When dry, it can be a little sticky and collect lint or hair, but this can easily be rinsed away. The other possible problem is that silicone lubricant can't be used with silicone toys, as it can ruin them.

The Silk Large dildo is certainly not as large as they come, but the somewhat bulbous shape creates a pleasant feeling of fullness in the vagina. The smooth shape also makes it easy to insert. When using the Silk I only need a few droplets of lube applied to the tip to insert it, because the outside texture is so smooth.

I have only used the Silk dildo vaginally. I haven't tried it anally, but the flared base makes this a toy that could be safely used in the anus.

The base is a plus even for vaginal use. I like the base because it stays upright more easily if I rest the Silk on a chair or mattress and then ride it from a sitting or squatting position for hands-free fun. Another dildo that I have, without a base, tends to tilt rather than remaining upright if I try this, which doesn't feel as pleasurable as the Silk.

The only possible downside to the base is when I have used this dildo and an anal plug at the same time. Sometimes the bases of the two toys can get in each others' way, but it hasn't been a major issue.
