I have to start by saying that my partner and I own several items from fetish fantasy particularly the fetish fantasy elite range. So when we ordered the Fetish Fantasy Elite 6 Inch Dildo from Pipedream we had high expectations. The toy arrived in the type of quality packaging I have come to expect from Fetish Fantasy Elite products. It comes in a box that is similar in colour to the toy (in this case pink). It has raised crocodile skin effect sides. Straight away it feels a little luxurious. There is no pornographic or overly sexualised imagery, just a picture of the toy and some specifications on the back, this always makes the experience a little more pleasant.The toy arrives wrapped in a foamy white packing material which can double as long term storage.

As with the entire range of elite products it comes with a silicone eye mask as well as toy cleaner and lube , these nice little touches put us in a good mood to try things out.

-Specifications-

My initial impression once out of the box, was that the toy was a little on the girthy side. It has a curve to it with a pronounced ridge on the top that in theory should help with g-spot stimulation. It has a flared base which is both a suction cup and makes the toy O-ring harness compatible (with a diameter of 1 ¾ inches). The toy measurements are as follows.

Insertable Length = 6 ½ Inches.
Circumference @ widest = 5 ¾ Inches.

-Material/Care-

The toy is made from medical grade silicone. It is one of the highest quality and above all safest materials available. It is Hypo-allergenic, Latex and Phthalates free and Non-porous. It can be boiled to sterilise it and is top rack dishwasher safe. For everyday cleaning you should use a mild antibacterial soap or toy cleaner coupled with some warm water. For storage you can use the bag it comes in or alternatively a zip-seal sandwich bag works well. This will help keep the toy clean.

-Use-

As I mentioned above our initial impression of this toy is that it was quite girthy. In addition to this it is quite a solid toy. If you bend hard enough you can feel the smallest of hollows at the core but this gives it only a minimal bend. While I will admit that my partner does prefer smaller toys we decided to try this out. Despite being well warmed up by some other smaller dildos as well as a vibrator she still found this quite uncomfortable to use and so we abandoned it after a short while. It is quite ridged as well as having somewhat of an awkward shape to it. We own several other toys in the range and so had high hopes but the design of this toy wasn’t for us.

If you do decide to try this toy you will want to use lube as it is quite girthy and very solid. You should use either oil or water based lube with this toy as a silicone based lube can damage it.

-Extra Items-

One thing I like about the fetish fantasy elite range is the small bundle of gifts they include with them. This one comes with a pink eye mask which is quite feminine and pretty to look at. Being silicone it is quite easy to clean. It also has the added advantage of being stretchy so it is a good fit on me which not many blindfolds are.

There are also two 29ml bottles (one of toy cleaner and one of water based lube). These are great little bottles for travelling with. Added to this it also means that wherever you are when you receive your toy you can use it straight out of the box and clean it afterwards.

-Summary-

Overall I have to admit that I was not overly impressed with this toy. We own several from the range and have always liked their design in the past but this is a bit of a departure from their normal toys. Those who would benefit from this toy are people who like particularly wide and solid toys. It has a suction cup base which also can be used with an o-ring harness and this is a great feature because it lends itself to solo use or couples into harness play. The material cannot be faulted as it is one of the best materials available in terms of hygiene and safety. The good thing about the range is that they offer good quality silicone toys at better value than some of their competitors. While it is quite a pretty toy to look at,I fell this toy is a bit of a let down in terms of design. This one is definitely not for beginners but if you consider yourself a size queen it might be for you.
