Worked for this beginner!

This was the first dildo I ever bought, and the one that I use most often to this day. I have a serious affection for my relaxing evenings with this toy, because you don't need to push the limits every night! This is also one of the few toys that will stimulate my picky, and hard to find G-spot without fail. I recommend this highly to anyone who is new to dildos or G-spot play.

Use

I am female, so I use this most often for vaginal penetration and thrusting. I think this toy is best suited for beginners, or for people who do not like lots of girth on their toys. This is nice to use solo, but could easily be worked into couples' sessions. Since it's pure silicone, it is safe to bring anywhere...no worries about breaking a motor in the shower or pool, since there is no motor!

Though I have not used it as such, this would be very safe for anal play, and is O-ring compatible so it could be used in a harness. I did not try either of these, but some of my fellow reviewers have, so I advise you to look to them if you're thinking of using it for these purposes.

Material / Texture

I had not tried a Tantus product before this one, and I have heard that they have one of the nicest silicones around. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. The Tantus site states that "Tantus uses a platinum based silicone, which is more expensive but also of a far superior, medical-grade quality. All Tantus toys are hypo-allergenic, non-toxic and free of phthalates", which are all big pluses in my book since I suffer from skin allergies and a distrust of unusual chemicals. They are also manufactured in the USA.

It's a nice medium between hard and very squishy (you can bend it in half, but you do need to use some force), and the finish is nice and smooth. You can see the seam when looking at it, but I was not able to feel it no matter how much I tried. It has a "waggle" that is somewhat similar to a real penis (the first five minutes of owning this was just spent wiggling it and laughing!). I would say this is a great material for beginners since it is not to soft, nor too hard, and you can determine if you like more or less from this one alone.

It had a little bit of a plastic smell out of the box that dissipated after a week or so (it may have just been the smell of the box itself), and this does collect a little bit of lint, so I make sure to store it in a lint-free bag when I'm not using it.

Design / Shape / Size

I bought the pearl pink color, which is actually very pretty in real life. It has a shimmery effect inside of the silicone of the dildo that doesn't truly show on pictures. I'm not much of a pale pink girl, but I do like this one. It is not very realistic as you can see by pictures, but it is phallic enough to be immediately spotted as a dildo, so be discreet if you need to. You could travel with it if you are okay with the TSA probably seeing it and knowing exactly what it is, but since it's pure silicone I doubt it would cause any trouble when going through scanners.

This dildo is 6.8" long and 1.4" in circumference, which for me is a little bit long and thin...but it turns out I love it that way! The smaller circumference made it easy to use vaginally (all I need is a little lube and I don't even have to worry about a "warm-up"), which makes it nice for a relaxing session. This is why I would recommend it for beginners, since it's not an overwhelming size. The ridges on the shaft mean that you don't even have to push in the whole length to get some G-spot stimulation, just in case this seems too long for you.

Let's talk about these ridges though, which are the main design feature of this toy. Let me tell you, they are great! I've had trouble stimulating my g-spot in the past with other toys (usually the "curved" styles)...turns out I may have been missing it the whole time! Every women's G-spot is in a different place, though generally it's a lot closer towards the beginning of your opening than near the end. This toy took the guess work out of it, though, because as you thrust, the ridges glide over the entire vaginal canal, so your G-spot will definitely be hit. They are not too hard, nor too sharp though, so for me it seemed to be a "massage" effect which built up gradually.

I also wanted to mention the base of this toy, which is just flat and seemingly really nothing special. It turns out that I don't need a "handle", because the flat end of the toy made it very easy for me to use my hand to push it into myself, and then a quick press with the thumb on the other side to slide it back out. Sometimes it's hard for me to get into the right position with toys so they don't strain my wrists, but this is definitely NOT one of those.

Performance

I think this performed wonderfully as a basic dildo. It is o-ring harness compatible, but unfortunately I will have to direct you towards my other lovely reviewer's notes for those, since I don't own a harness.

There are no bells or whistles with this. It's just you and your lovely shaft of silicone, which is sometimes all you need! The shape of this has led to many great vaginal and G-spot orgasms, and is mind-blowing when combined with a clitoral vibrator.

Care and Maintenance

Care could not be easier for this toy. There are no mechanics, seams or water sensitive parts to worry about. Wash it under running water with soap once you take it out of the box, and the same after use. I don't use any special soap, just the hand soap in the bathroom, and it seems to work without any issues. I will usually towel dry it, or just leave it out to air dry if I have time.

I store this inside of a drawstring bag that I had in the house, and I would definitely recommended at least covering it with something (like a piece of fabric), since it will collect lint if left out. I don't have many lint issues when I store it this way.

It is recommended to use this with a water-based lube, and I use Sliquid Satin, which seems to be a great match. This toy is smooth enough that I can get away with no lube though, and just use my natural juices when I feel like it!

I have had this for a long time, and I don't see myself falling out of love with this one!
