Charmer - dildo discontinued by Tantus - review by Mr.Punch

Like all Tantus products, this is a well-made toy (it's silicone, so only use water-based lubes!) that ends up being very surprising (in a good way).

First thing you notice is the appearance; it is non-representational, both in form and in color. Now for a straightish chap, this is always reassuring, but it also looks so very cool and sexily, exotically alien. Please tell me I'm not the only one here turned on by the alien?

Second thing is that it is very very flexible, with a softness and pliability (we'll come back to this). Overall, this is good but you need to line it up carefully when inserting otherwise it can just bend.

So it's soft and strange, but how does it work? I've used it two ways, so let's see. Using it as an anal dildo, you can place a dab of lube at the end and slide in the head comfortably. Then each textured rib can be felt as it slips in. Keeping it in place is nicely not overwhelmingly filling, and the dildo (with more lube) can be slid in and out with each action rippling your anal muscles. I found this very pleasant as a slow-acting dildo, but faster was a little much for me.

Using it in a harness is surprisingly workable (when used on a man Rembrandt to angle the ridges downward to hit the p-spot rather than upward for a g-spot). Due to the Charmer's flexibility, the tip needs to be held as it is first pressed inwards, and you should used plenty of lube to account for the ridges. Because it is flexible and relatively thin, it can slide all the way out and can bend during a missed thrust so it seems better for a slower, deeper fuck than a fast pounding.

I really like this dildo; it's pretty and it's functional. Easy to clean and made very well.

While it didn't always hit my p-spot, the overall experience was delightful. It's a comfortable and exotic anal toy.
