A Ruby in My Collection

The Ruby G from SSA Glass is a completely smooth, double-ended glass dildo. The curved tip and bulged head on this dildo are more slight on this dildo compared to others, but you might be able to get some G-spot stimulation from it, though it won't work for everyone. This should not be used anally as there is nothing to stop the body from completely sucking it in and that would not be a fun trip to the ER.

Temperature play is also really fun to do. Heat it up with warm water or chill it in a bowl of ice and water and enjoy. I would caution against putting it in the freezer or microwave as those temperatures are too extreme for the body to handle comfortably.

Glass is a very firm and hard material. Thankfully this makes it very durable. It won't break easily but if it should, it would break up into large pieces rather than shatter into little tiny ones.

Glass is non-porous so if cleaned really well, it won't hold onto any fluids. It won't attract hair and lint like silicone or jelly would. It also can be used with any kind of lubricant and only a small amount is needed since glass becomes very slick.

The shape is quite phallic so it is easy for anyone to figure out what this little orange wonder is for so I wouldn't display it.

Each piece is individually made so measurements may vary. This one is 7 5/8" in length and either end is insertable. The pronounced head is 4 1/2" in circumference and the rest is 3 1/4" in circumference.

The curved end has pretty much let me down. It was a lot slighter than what I was expecting so I've stuck to using the ball shaped end. I'm pretty sensitive to textures and I use this whenever I don't feel like putting up with textures. The length is comfortable and appropriate for thrusting.

Unless your G-spot is really easy to stimulate, this dildo will probably not target that area very well. However, it's smooth design and small girth make it a great choice for beginners and those who don't like any texture.

The smooth design of this glass dildo makes it very easy to clean. Washing it with soap and water will do. It can be sterilized by boiling for a couple of minutes or by wiping down with a 10 percent bleach solution. If you choose to boil it, let it cool off before removing because glass doesn't like to change temperatures rapidly.

The pouch that comes with this toy is great to store it in as it will keep it from clinking against other glass toys. Always inspect it before using for any chips or cracks so you don't get injured.
