Cyclone wand - double ended dildo by EdenFantasys - review by snowminx

The cyclone is a great glass dildo for beginners, like me, but I also think it would be fun for people of all experience types. There's definitely a reason this toy only has 4 and 5 star reviews and it's not only due to its gorgeous look, although in that aspect it certainly isn't lacking either. The first time I used the toy was actually with a partner and I think he enjoyed pleasing me with it almost as much as I enjoyed taking it.



Glass toys are perfect for temperature play and I am excited to try that one of these days. The toy has a natural cool feeling which was a different sensation than what I was used to but I greatly enjoyed it! I caution not to thrust with this toy because although it may be fairly small for some people you could easily angle it the wrong way and hurt yourself pretty badly. The toy does not have flared base but with the nice sized bulb at the bottom it's very easy to grip. That said, I personally believe it would be fine as an anal toy if you don't put lube on the bottom to make it too slippery that you have trouble handling it. Personally I couldn't get half past the biggest bump vaginally so unless you can know you can take in a large girth anally I don't see how it would be a problem. Just make sure you have a good grip on the bottom bulb and not attempt to put that in!

As you can see the cyclone is made out of beautifully designed glass. It's very smooth to the touch and the bumps supply pleasure that make it more interesting than a straight dildo but at the same time isn't ever painful to insert. Glass is obviously a very firm material and if dropped it may break. If you do happen to drop a glass toy you should always take a close look at it to see if it has any cracks, chips or anything on the outside that may have been damaged. If you see anything at that time DO NOT USE IT. It may cause you harm and no one wants scratched up private parts.



The cyclone is great in that it feels smooth, it's body safe and it also has no taste or smell. Borosilicate glass rates as a 10 on the safely scale and for very good reasons. It's hypo-allergenic, latex free, and phthalates free making it the perfect toy for anyone with allergies to other types of materials or anyone that really just wants a fully safe toy. Glass is also said to be food-grade material and I'm not really sure why you would ever need to know that but I guess it's worth mentioning anyways. Speaking of food material, this toy is also good to practice your oral skills on because not only is this taste and odor free but it's also an unforgiving material that will certainly let you know if you're using teeth! Your partner(s) will surely thank you for that one in the long run.

Design- The design is pretty simple; the glass is clear but has three different colored lines swirling about in the toy. The yellow and blue swirls around each other while the three greenish blue lines stay inside just slightly curving. I love the design of it and I couldn't think of anything I would change about it if I could.



Size- The size is either off on the product page or they are all slightly different lengths due to the glass being handmade. When I measured the toy it only came to around 7 inches and not the 8 that it claims to be. I didn't have a measuring tape so I wasn't able to measure the circumference but it says it is 4 1/4". The bottoms are not very different in their size, one just looks a lot bigger because it's more rounded and less gradual.

I found this toy quite enjoyable and I loved that it has two different ends to it. One side is more gradual and slides in easily while the other side is more rounded and feels like you have to pop it in. The large bump is also not perfectly centered and you will get a different sensation depending on which side you choose to use. Glass toys are also great for temperature play and you can even go from hot to cold sessions without worrying about it breaking.

I couldn't find any downsides to this toy. There were only slight imperfections with the look of the toy but it didn't take way from actually using the toy at all. Some people might not like it due to glass being so firm but it's something I think everyone should at least try once, you might end up loving it!

Cleaning- Glass toys are very easy to clean. Wash with warm/hot water and any kind of soap. With glass you can boil, bleach and even put it in your dishwasher. This toy doesn't have any sharp sides so it isn't easy for germs to hide on this toy.

Storage- The toy just came in a thin red storage bag (not padded). You do not get the one that is shown on the product page anymore which was kinda a let down since it was so pretty. The bag doesn't stay closed very tightly so I just put a knot in it so there is less chance of it slipping out somehow.

Lubes- Any lube you want! Water based, silicone, even oil based products. Personally I didn't have to use any lube due to the really smooth texture of the toy.

Like all SSA glass pieces, this toy came in a red pouch (non-padded) that had a simple black straight rope to pull it closed. I found it doesn't close all the way so I just put a knot in it to be sure it's safer. I was a bit disappointed when I saw that you no longer got the purple bag that was shown on the product page but I guess they wanted to make it cheaper. The bag itself is thin, soft and fuzzy feeling on the outside and silky feeling on the inside. Inside the bag there was also bubble wrap surrounding the toy but it still worries me when that's the only protection it gets in a box with other toys that get knocked around in shipping. There were no instructions, tags or even a logo making it the most minimal packaging I've ever received.




As you can see the length of the bag is about 8.5 inches so the toy fits perfectly inside.

Every time I've used this toy I've been satisfied. The smooth glass has no imperfections that I can see and the bumps are spaced out enough that even though this is a smaller toy in length, you're really getting your fill. Before using this toy I very rarely squirted but the second time I used this I actually squirted three times in one session! The cyclone has really made me love and appreciate glass toys and I'm really glad I decided to get this one. I would suggest this toy to anyone that is looking to get into glass play and I can't really see myself throwing this piece away, even if I do get into more textured toys. I can't see anyone going wrong with having this toy in their collection even if only to see if you would enjoy glass.
