I really wanted to love this toy.

Double dildos|Double ended dildos, as many of those who have tried them can attest, are generally much better in theory than they are in practice. While this one is a step up from the "tube" variety, it's still not quite what either my partner or I had hoped.

What drew us to the Feeldoe Slim|Double ended dildos: Feeldoe slim by Tantus in the first place is that it is supposed to be able to be used without a harness. We have tried to use it this way, and it feels great for awhile, but once you get yourself into a rhythm, the Feeldoe Slim has the obnoxious habit of slipping out at the most inopportune moments. It kind of ruins the mood when you have to stop every few minutes and put the bulb back into the giving partner.

The second strike against this toy is that the bullet that came with our Feeldoe broke very quickly. We used it in the toy once, and afterwards it no longer worked. We tried changing the batteries but to no avail. Our bullet was permanently out of commission. We had expected better craftsmanship for something so expensive.

That isn't to say that there aren't good things about the Feeldoe. For one, this toy is both silicone AND disability friendly. I have arthritic hands, so I have somewhat of a weak grip and my hands get tired easily when I am using toys on my partner. This toy makes things easier though, as the bulbous end makes a great handle. So many toys that I’ve found that are disability-friendly aren’t made of silicone, so it’s nice that at least with this toy I don’t have to choose between something that’s comfortable for me to use and something that’s hygienic.

Overall this toy gets three stars. Unfortunately I am still waiting for that miracle double dildo to be designed.
