Getting Some Real Pleasure

The Real Pleasure vibrator is a very good, basic addition to anyone's toy chest. It's a simple toy with nothing too complicated, yet it's got a decent kick in the right areas.

Use

As a male, I'm always very cautious about toys with no base, since there's always a danger it'll get lost. But this guy is big enough that you have a decent amount of control over where it goes. It's pretty thick, meaning, I probably wouldn't use it as a very first toy. The Real Pleasure is a penis-shaped vibrator that EdenFantasys gives away free with a newsletter subscription. It's main purpose is for vaginal insertion, but since it's sized like a pretty decent penis, he works wonders for hitting a man's p-spot.

Material / Texture

The Real Pleasure is made out of TPE rubber, which isn't exactly the safest material in the world, but it's ultra-soft, which is something I definitely like. Fortunately for people who have problems with soft toys (like me), the TPE is just a sleeve over a hard plastic core, which helps with getting it in. When you first get it, it's got a coat of powder on it that makes it very velvety, but when that powder is removed, you find that it's pretty grabby. There was a very distinct TPE smell, but I'm one of those people that doesn't think TPE smells too bad, and it's not overpowering or anything. Another con about it being soft is that you can't feel the prominent veins at all. However, while it's in, it's extremely comfortable and, although I've never experienced it, it seems pretty realistic. TPE is also porous, meaning that it cannot be shared. It cannot be boiled either. If you want to share it with a friend or a partner, you should definitely use a condom. Since it's TPE rubber, you can use virtually any kind of lube you want with it, which is good since it tends to suck up water-based lubes.

Design / Shape / Size

Unless you have other phallic objects hanging around, I would definitely not consider this toy to be discreet. It pretty much screams, "Hey, everybody! FlashFuchsia puts me into his anus on a regular basis!". I really do like the design, though. It's a simple, penis shape, and what's not to love about a penis? The Real Pleasure isn't exactly a tiny vibrator either. Very new beginners will have some difficulty getting it to fit, and size-queens will complain that it's small, but I find it to be a very good size (me being a beginner, myself).

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations on this toy are pretty decent. As opposed to other vibrators where you stop feeling it after a while, I'm always feeling this toy while it's in. The vibrations seem to be concentrated toward the top of the plastic part (just under the head). A problem is that it's pretty noisy. I'd only use this guy when home alone or with some other loud noise to drown it out. The controls are pretty easy--it's a simple "screw in the back part to turn it on, unscrew it to turn it off" contraption. It requires 2 AAA batteries that aren't included, so there's that. Also I honestly doubt it's waterproof, especially since so many vibrators advertise as being waterproof and they're not. I've used it a few times and the batteries (which I pulled out of another object, so they're not quite fresh) still haven't died. Also there's only one speed setting, but, honestly, I don't get why people would want a million speed settings.

Care and Maintenance

If you've read my other review, you know how much I love silicone toys. Unfortunately I'm not as much of an expert on TPE toys. I've been cleaning my Real Pleasure with anti-bacterial hand soap and water, and it seems to do the trick. After I wash it and dry it, I cover it with a thin layer of baby powder just to draw out some of the moisture. I store mine in the original packaging (just like I do with all my toys, just for simplicity sake). I would definitely test on an inconspicuous spot to make sure it can touch other toys.

Packaging

The toy came in a plastic tube with the EdenFantasys logo all over it. There were no instructions (although, I'm sure it would say something similar to "Put in batteries, turn knob, put in vagina/anus"). I wouldn't use the packaging as a gift box or anything, but it's good for keeping the toy since it's very easy to open/close.

Experience

I'm always excited to use my new thing when I get packages. Usually I can't resist opening it and trying it then and there. So I turned on the shower, go the toy out of the package, lubed-up and put it in. I was definitely too excited at first because it was painful to get in, but I eventually managed to get it in. He felt super comfortable, and the vibes were pretty nice. I was so excited to be using my new toy (coupled with my new Adonis Atlas ring), that I came within minutes.
