Double dare - double ended dildo discontinued by EdenFantasys - review by Airen Wolf

I love glass toys. In fact, we three love glass toys so much that Sigel wonders why I bother with any other type of toys! I have explained to him that silicone, wood, metal and stone all have their place but he remains skeptical since I always seem to return to glass.
When I saw the Double Dare by SSA Glass I fell in love with it's beautiful textures and lovely hourglass shape. Even though it was only available in pink I knew I had to have it. The pink is a lovely shade which I actually like.

The Double Dare is a hefty dildo made of Pyrex glass that has nubs, bulges, swirls, a pointy tip on it's large bulbous head and a smooth round ball on it's other end. In short it's this reviewer's dream toy! If it vibrated and made coffee in the morning it would be my dream date.

In total the Dare is approximately 6 3/4 inches long and 6 inches in circumference at it's widest. This toy has many ranges of thickness though and at it's smallest it is about 3 inches in circumference. It weighs in at a whopping 11 ounces! This is no shrinking violet that will get lost in the bedding.
The textures are on the 'head' of the toy and make for an amazing experience when the toy is gently thrust with a twisting motion. The end is pointed but not sharply enough that it will cause pain. This is a glass toy, however, so use some caution to avoid hurting delicate tissues.

The 'handle' of the toy is a lovely ball that is about half as thick around as the head. It has a graceful thin neck that flares into a larger bulge. This handle is lovely when pressed up against the G spot for women who like pressure as opposed to vibration. The toy is easy to maneuver in the hand even solo, though it can be a bit fatiguing for long sessions.

Keeping this beauty clean is a breeze! Soap and warm water should be all you ever need as it is completely non-porous. It can also be boiled, carefully placed in the top rack of your dishwasher and washed without detergent, wiped down with a 10% bleach and water solution, or a simple spritz with a commercial cleaner!

The Double Dare comes with a very thin red cloth bag for storage but I found it to be inadequate for protecting my new friend. I opted to store it in a toy storage pouch from Eden Fantasys.

When I showed the Double Dare to Sigel he just shook his head but admitted that it looked like it would be fun to use.

I use this one mainly vaginally and I found the head of the toy to be filling and the textures were easy to feel. It can be somewhat painful if you try heavy, hard thrusting but with a slower more sensual twisting motion the user will find this to be a great experience. The handle hit my g spot perfectly and the heavy head of the toy allowed me to easily maneuver the gently rounded end of the toy over my g spot and apply the perfect amount of pressure.

The fact that you can use any type of lube you prefer and the way it seems to make even sticky lube last forever earns this toy super high marks in my book.

This toy is still on my top ten most used toys because I adore texture and this litle baby has it to spare! I haven't noticed any signs of wear and tear. With just minimal care while cleaning I havent seen any chipping or crazing of the glass despite being dropped occassionally in a porcelain sink and tub.
If I could change my rating I'd give this baby 5 full stars for ease of use and long term appreciation.
