Introducing Torpedo Mikey

Just like the torpedos of mass destruction, Mikey shares the cigar shape and knows just how to make an explosion within me! If you want some friendly fire in your life, get your hands around Mikey and see what he can do for you!
~ Realistic feel in texture and density
~ Silicone
~ Firm
~ Tolerates water/silicone hybrid lube
~ Could be more realistic and a smidge longer

extremely useful review

I had only just received my first O2 toy when Mikey went on mega sale. I absolutely feel in love with Adam, so I hadn't actually planned my next O2 order; this guy was an impulse buy. But at such a discount, I knew I couldn't go wrong. Of all things, it was the choosing of the colour that posed a slight challenge.

O2 Mikey is proudly produced by Tantus using ultra premium platinum silicone and made in the USA. Being awarded a safety rating of 10 on Eden means he meets all the requirements – hypoallergenic, food grade, non porous as well as being phthalates and latex free. The only scent that Mikey gives off is a very faint silicone odour. Even then, you need to have your nose pressed hard against the toy and it is in no way offensive or toxic smelling. To prevent this dildo from breaking down and becoming tacky only use water based lubricants. I tested a small patch on the base and edge with Wet Synergy Cool Tingle Water + Silicone hybrid lube. It left slightly raised patches, but they aren't tacky at all and they disappear after awhile.

I really wanted the Vanilla colour, but unfortunately the sale only applied to the Caramel and Chocolate. Because I already had O2 Adam in the Caramel, I went for the rich Chocolate.

Mikey has a soft matte, squishy texture that resembles human skin along the entire shaft with a firm inner core. Although it is firm, there is still a reasonable amount of flexibility to the shaft. There are some very slightly raised veins, but nothing that can really be felt while in use. He features a raised frenulum on the underside where the helmet head meets the shaft. The head is smooth shiny silicone which is very squishy – almost jelly like.

Mikey is suppose to resemble a realistic penis, but I prefer a little more realism to my dildos. Apart from the base, he reminds me of a torpedo. Only this guy is looking for friendly fire! The base is flat and round which makes it o-ring compatible. Mikey has a curve that is more from the shaft coming off the base on an angle, although the shaft does a very slight curve too. The head barely protrudes from the shaft and tends to look like a helmet. If you look at it from the underside it has a groove from the meatus down to where the gland parts at the frenulum. It reminds me of the little Lego people's hair where it parts and sweeps around to where the ears would be.
Mikey has a girth of 5 ¾” and a length of 5 ¾”; 5 ¼” of that is insertable.

The main beauty of pure silicone is the ability to sterilize it between usage or orifices. For a normal washing simply use warm water and anti-bacterial soap or toy cleaner. I wouldn't suggest using wipes as they don't usually do a thorough job removing bits off silicone lint collectors. But work fine if you want a quick clean off with intentions of a proper cleanse at a later time. Sterilizing Mikey can be done by placing him in the top rack of your dishwasher, boiled or wiped over with a 10% bleach solution. Be sure to wash the bleach off fully before using the dildo again.

O2 Mikey arrived in a clear flimsy, tall box with Tantus and other basic information written on all sides. Due to the box being see through, it's in no way discreet. Inside, Mikey sits snug in moulded clear plastic that keeps him clean while travelling to his destination. There's no pouch and the packaging isn't really suitable for long term storage. It also takes up more space than what the dildo alone requires. Be sure to keep your silicone toys away from others that may melt, have a strong odour or colouring that could rub off onto your premium toys.

Mikey truly is for everyone, that is, as long as you have a desire for larger girthed dildos. He is fantastic for vaginal and anal play due to the flared base. The head isn't really pronounced, but the slight curve may be enough for some to hit their g-spot. Mikey is o-ring friendly and works superbly in a harness.

I'm a huge fan of O2 silicone dildos. I just wish there was a much bigger range/variety in this material. They are producing more, but it seems like an extremely slow process to an impatient person.
I wouldn't mind if Mikey had a little extra length to him, so I had a bit more to grip onto when thrusting. His base fits perfectly in my Liberator Wing which gives me slightly more length than when I'm holding onto him. I find that this guy works wonderfully when I'm after a little extra girth without going for anything drastically huge.
When it comes to silicone, I just can't find any better than O2!

Mikey earns 5 stars.
Follow-up commentary
Although I don't use Mikey too often now (I have too many others), I still love him. I can't get enough of O2 silicone toys.
I am disappointed that the chocolate one I bought now comes up with this black image! I did NOT buy the black.
