Not Blooming, But Certainly Banging!

This is an elegant glass dildo unlike any you've seen before. It's a slightly different breed of glass dildo, built a bit more for beauty than function, but I must say, it still fits all my needs. It's a perfect length and girth for me to handle, with a unique variation of widths throughout, like a little roller coaster in glass!

Icicles no. 12 can be used for temperature play, anal and vaginal play, and can be used with silicone, water, and oil based lubes. It can be boiled, and can possibly be used in conjunction with a harness (the only thing stopping me from verifying this is a lack of a harness to use).

It's subtile ability to disguise-- I could put this up on my parent's mantle and they wouldn't know it's a dildo from a glass statue-- is great amongst those not in the know. However, because it is still glass, I would not sugest traveling with this any more than in a purse or in carry-on.

For material experts on Eden, this is your favorite kind of glass! This is Borosilicate, or Pyrex, Glass. If this dildo does break for you, there's a significantly higher chance of it breaking in large chunks than in it shattering into tiny, sharp, evil pieces. It is designed to do this, making it much safer for handling and playing around.

Because it is glass, it is nice and slick, smooth to the touch and cool to skin contact at normal temperatures. It slowly warms up the more you touch it, allowing the dildo to remain cooler for much longer. Throw it in the freezer, and it will be a nice friendly ice-pick to gently play with. Put it into warm water, bring it to a boil, and your dildo will be very, very warm. (Remember never to just put your dildo straight from room temperature into boiling water. It may break from radical change!)

The toy should be harness compatible, with it's large flared base, but I can't tell you sadly, as I lack a harness to test this on!

The toy's curves and lumps are very present, and since the head is much larger than the initial neck, it may be something to get used to. To me, however, it wasn't as 'crazy' as other reviewers were making it out to be. It's rather gentile, though I would recommend this more for intermediate use rather than beginner.

The rose bud itself has an interesting texture design of folded, waiting-to-bloom pedals, smaller up top and bursting outwards at the base of the blooming-pink section. It's a rather wonderful affect, I enjoy it deeply, but it's not too crazy for anyone past their first or second toy. It's refreshing for intermediates and experts alike.

The shape is not too pushy. At 7 1/2 inches it's definitely lengthy, but the girth is only 1 1/2 inches in diameter, slightly smaller than the average of toys and penises I have encountered. So, if you're new to glass, and like that lumpy feeling, after experimenting initially, this is a good glass dildo to upgrade to. Or, if you are new to deeper lengths, this toy is a gentle way to see how much farther you're comfortable going.

The performance is excellent. Just a little bit of lube and I was ready to go! Glass has a way of not needing too much to really get going, making it easier to go for longer and go deeper. The shape is great for really hitting the good spots, both G-Spot and otherwise-- it almost feels like it encourages my muscles to squeeze on and react!

The only way I have currently used this toy is solo play, and my partner inserting it for me. I haven't been nearly as experimental as I could be, but to be honest, I'm okay with that. It's a perfect length and girth for vaginal play, so it's been a constant companion when my partner is out late working and will be too tired to play when he gets back.

Glass is one of the easiest things to clean. A little soap and water go a long way, and if you've ever cleaned glasses for your kitchen before, you know that squeaky-clean feel and noise you get when your toy is perfect and ready to go again! The only down side about cleaning this dildo is there are a few small crevices in the bloom-- use a soft, terry cloth towel to wipe it out throughly and you'll be good to go.

If you use this for multiple partners, consider using a condom or boiling the toy between uses to sterilize. Again I reiterate, do not place the toy directly into boiling water! Place it in room temperature water, and slowly raise the temperature.

For storage, this is good just about anywhere. Consider a soft bag to protect it from falls, but besides that, you can put this just about anywhere.

On a side note, while wet and soapy, it becomes very slippery, and it could slip through your fingers. Put down a soft mat on tile floors next to where you're cleaning it. Better safe than sorry!
