The Maverick works flawlessly with a harness, but I'm a fan of using it "freestyle" as well. Though certainly not for the faint of heart, it's been great for oral, vaginal and anal sex. It can take some warming up though! With it in a low-riding harness, I've even enjoyed jerking off with it.

I'm a die-hard fan of Vixskin's dual-core silicone. The Maverick looks and feels highly realistic without any rubber taste or smell. The inner core is firm, and the shaft is definitely firm enough for easy penetration. The outer core is softer, with some "give" that makes it feel more like flesh. The lifelike feel is probably the biggest plus for me, and it makes strap-on blow jobs much more enjoyable. The coloring, however, is in the silicone itself, so it has no accents or details.

At two inches in circumference, this is not a beginner's toy. The shaft is very well designed though, with foreskin details, a well-shaped head (Mmm), and a slight curvature. Because the Maverick is made of silicone, it's easy to sanitize. You can wash it with warm water and antibacterial soap, or you can boil it for 3 minutes. If you are switching between multiple partners (or holes), you can and should use a condom, of course. I would only recommend water-based lubes, as mine got slightly damaged when it came into contact with oil-based lube by accident. Play it safe, and use water-based lubes with silicone toys. The Maverick, like other VixSkin toys, comes in a clear plastic tube with two removable lids. While not particularly glamorous, it is very funcitonal and will maintain the shape of the toy.
