Sharing is Caring

The Share is magnificent for what it is. Sure, gravity isn't helping, but it is doing the best it can, and I commend it for that. It's fun on both sides which is an amazing thing for me. I find the idea of strap on sex highly erotic, but if I am not being physically stimulated, I get frustrated, so this is a great tool for me.

Use

This is a neat double ended dildo by Fun Factory. The Share XL is the girthier textured version of this toy. Fun Factory makes a slightly smaller one called the Share that is smooth.

So, this is a strapless strap on. The intended use is for a female bodied individual to use this to penetrate another anally or vaginally. The shorter bulge rests on the pubic bone and is held in by the Kegels. I did a lot of research on these types of toys before selecting this one. I can't personally compare, but for my body, this was the one that I was confident would work best. The shape of this is more sensibly designed to fit female anatomy rather than others in my opinion.

I also have used both sides for solo use. I love the sensations this has, and the two sides are very different. This can be used vaginally or anally with both ends, so that's a lot of options in one toy.

Beginners may find this a bit on the larger side, so the smaller version would probably be a better place to start.

Material / Texture

The Share XL is made from a velvety chunky of silicone. It lacks a lot texture, but it makes up for it in how divine it feels. There are swirls around the shaft that are raised and one around the nub that is worn by the "giver", but they are subtle due to how soft and pliable the silicone is. I personally don't like a lot of texture, so this toy really appealed to me because it didn't have much.

The silicone used for the Share XL is hypoallergenic and pthalate free, so this toy shouldn't worry you at all. It's made from food safe silicone, so it will be safe for you. Additionally, upon opening the box, there was not taste or smell, and it hasn't retained any since use.

The Share XL is very weighty but still flexible and slightly sguishable. It's just about the perfect density of silicone in my opinion.

Design / Shape / Size

This is a girthier toy which I love, but some may find it too much of a challenge to be comfortable.

The bulb that the giver wears is 4" insertable which I found to be a bit short to hit all the good spots internally for me. Most will probably have this stimulating the g-spot due to the curve and shape of the bulb. It is designed to hook onto the pubic bone. The internal bulb is 5.25" in circumference which I found pleasantly filling.

The longer, phallic portion of the toy is about 6" insertable with a girth of 5.75" at the widest. This was a sensible size in my opinion for those that lean towards larger toys.

Between the two sections is a scoop that accommodates the pubic mound of the giver. It's a bit thin in that section with a girth of 3.5" at the smallest. This makes the toy a bit droopy if you don't use a harness to give it support. While I would love a strapless strap on that didn't droop, I know that every toy like this that is on the market right now has this issue.

Out of the two sides, I prefer the giver's bulb, but that could be because I bought this with the intention of using it as a giver more often than as a receiver.

Performance

The Share XL has no vibrating features. It's just a solid chunk of well designed silicone. Sure, it can droop a bit, but I was expecting that. A nice harness that allows for these types of toys fixes that issue while still mainlining the dual stimulation.

The curve that this has on both the giver and receiver portions allows for vulva stimulation. If I really grind, I can also get clitoral stimulation which I found to be awesome. I have a very tucked in clit and largish labia, so others may find this easier to achieve.

Care and Maintenance

This can be cleaned with soap and water, in the top rack of the dishwasher, or by boiling. Silicone is a fantastic product because you can sterilize it. The down side of silicone is that it can only be used with oil or water based lubricants. It's not safe for silicone lubes.

Fuids get trapped a bit around the swirls, but it cleans up easily in the sink. I normally use toy wipes, but this one cleans up better being immersed in water. It's easy to spray with a toy cleaner and rinse. The down side is that it attracts lint like crazy, so you will feel like you are constantly cleaning it.

Silicone products should be stored not touching other types of silicone. I store mine in it's original packaging because it doesn't take up a ton of room.

Packaging

Fun Factory's packaging is always pretty basic, but not tacky. The Sonic came in a box about the size of the toy. On the outside there was a sleeve that shows a life size picture of the toy, so there is no way that I would call this discreet packaging. Additionally, the sleeve has pictures explaining locations that you can use this like vaginally and anally, so again, not particularly discreet.

All of the packaging is made from cardboard. It's thin enough that I accidentally tear it a bit, but still rather sturdy.

Experience

I was terribly excited about receiving this toy after drooling over it for months. I wanted it so bad and for so long. As soon as it was dropped off on my door step I was running to the back room to see how it fit my body. I tried it fist as the "giver". The bulb slid in and locked onto my pubic bone comfortably. It was a very nice feeling. And then I looked down to see this phallus sticking out. I touched it and was stimulated.

Then my mind kind of blew. It was so strange to have this thing hanging from me. I quickly got over it, but for about a minute I was terribly confused. I guess now I can definitively say that I don't really have any urge to have a penis of my own.
