Sharing is not for the inexperienced.

For us, this toy was worth the money. It works with our anatomies. It fits the type of sex we have. It took some getting used to, but the outcome was great. As an FTM, I can say that it's great to be able to please my girl as a cisgendered man would, but also be getting off to it. It feels natural, like an extension of myself. My pleasure isn't an afterthought. We both enjoy and cum over and over from this. The Share XL was perfect for us.

Use

When I took this out of the box, my girlfriend's jaw dropped. "Oh. My. God. That's huge!" was her response. At 13.5" long and 1.5 lbs, she was right. In spite of our initial worries about how this would fit, we proceeded with caution and found that this is one of our favorite toys. This double-ended dildo is made to be worn internally without the use of a harness. The short bulb is contoured for a tight fit inside the wearer, where it rests against the g-spot and stimulates it during sex. The Share XL is thick all over, so both partners need some amount of water-based lube or natural wetness to get it in comfortably the first few times. The shaft is fairly long with ridges, so it has to be eased in very gently. This can't really be used for "quickies." It takes some time to get used to, but the end result is worth it. I would not recommend this for anal unless you've taken comparably large cocks. The vagina can accommodate the Share XL, but I wouldn't rip my ass open trying to use it back there. I understand that it's used by some for anal-focused gender play and pegging. Do yourself a favor and look at the actual product size ruler under the pictures before you hurt yourself thinking it'll definitely fit. The same rule applies if you intend to use it vaginally. This is a massive toy. It may not work for everyone. Take into consideration your body type. The bulb is meant to be held in place by the pelvic muscles. In my experience, I have to clench my thighs around it to really keep it from falling out.

This toy is best-suited for female-bodied sex, in my opinion. Gender play and anal are at your own risk. I'm inexperienced in this matter, but it's a pleasurable toy if it will fit comfortably. As an FTM, I don't feel emasculated with it in. When my girl wears it, she doesn't feel like a man. Because it's worn internally, we can both enjoy the feelings and get off at the same time. It creates intimacy that we crave and just can't get with any harness between us.

These can also be used to increase PVC muscle strength. You can either use the weight as resistance during solo kegels or flex your muscles during sex (which is what I do). These can make it easier to hold the toy in and increase orgasmic ability.
Be careful with this toy. Thrusting too fast or cumming too hard can pull it out. It's also big enough to cause an injury if you rush into using it. I can't say this enough: use lubrication and go slowly until it becomes comfortable. It's better to spend hours in bed trying it out and learning to appreciate what it can do than hurting yourself using it wrong and feeling like you've wasted the money.

Material / Texture

This is a whimsical silicone toy. Ours came in the fuchsia color, which is true to the pictures. It had a bit of a smell, as all silicone does. After a few uses and washes, I can't smell it anymore. The shaft and bulb are thick and mostly firm, but there is definite flexibility between the bulb and the shaft to accommodate differences in anatomy and various positions. The material itself is very soft and comfortable to use with lube. The texture of the Share XL is what sets it apart from other double-ended dildos. There are ridges all through the slightly-curved shaft to caress the upper vaginal wall and stimulate the g-spot. Another ridge is found in the bulb, though I don't notice it much when it's in. That said, I have a large g-spot and most anything feels good to it. This is not a toy for the inexperienced. If you've never used anything with such large ridges, you may find that each one is like taking a slightly bigger cock. Once it's in, it feels great. I'm usually the wearer, but my girlfriend definitely goes crazy for the ridges because I always take a few minutes to inch the cock into her and the gentle penetration stimulates her well.

Design / Shape / Size

Before I go into design and shape, we have to talk size. I mentioned it above, but it needs to be said again. This is huge. Both the wearer and receiver have to be able to accommodate this. If you've never used a thick cock, start smaller. We went from using nothing to using this. It can be done, but we were both sore for days. Don't put yourself through that if you can afford to start smaller and buy this when you're comfortable. It's a thick, heavy toy. It won't work for everyone — especially if you're small in the thighs.
The design is made for two female bodies. It's shaped like a J. The shaft curves up slightly and features ridges to stimulate the receiving partner's g-spot with each thrust. There is a ridge at the base of the shaft that rests against the clit of the wearer and gives it something to rub against for added sensation. The dildo dips down at this point to create a comfortable hug against the wearer's anatomy, and the bulb comes up at an angle so that the knot at the top of it rests against the g-spot and moves against it during sex. The design is perfect. The shape is exact. The size may or may not work. I don't know that most people, even, would be able to handle it. You know your body. I don't. I can say that I'm a fairly big guy, so my thighs hold in what my anatomy doesn't. It still comes out if my girl pulls too hard while she cums. It's heavy. It's big. If you don't think you can handle it, start smaller and test the waters. I don't want anyone getting hurt thinking it will work for them because I could take it. I have strong pelvic muscles and a large g-spot, combined with a pretty big clit. This toy is extremely pleasurable for me as the wearer. My girl enjoys taking the shaft. This may not be the case for everyone, though. It fits my anatomy. Consider your own anatomy before you buy. Read reviews. Look at the actual size pictures. Hold something that's 1.5 lb and decide if your body can keep it in for sex. This has to be about you — I'm just saying that for me, it worked. And I love it.
This looks like a sex toy. I suppose if you've never seen a double-ended dildo, you may not know what you're looking at. However, I wouldn't travel with it unless it was in my carry on. It's too big, too whimsical, too obviously shaped to be discreet.

Performance

For my girl and I this toy works. Simply put, it fits our anatomies and the way we have sex. I have to put the bulb in myself first, and then clench my thighs together. I get wet enough to need very little, if any, lube. I lube her up every time because I don't want to hurt her. It's much longer and slower going in than the bulb. Once I feel secure, I slowly let the shaft enter her. The ridges open her up little-by-little, and this drives her crazy in the best way. I pull out in the same way, reminding myself to be gentle. When she's comfortable, she tells me and we build a rhythm. The entire time, my thighs have to stay tight. This keeps my pelvic muscles tight against the bulb and increases my pleasure, so it's worth the soreness. We can really only use this in variants of the missionary position or with her on top, riding me. It's designed for you and your partner to face each other. Besides that, gravity will eventually win if you aren't at the right angle. When we fuck, I almost lie on her. I'd say my body is at a 45-degree (or less) angle to hers. This is what works for us. We can't use a harness with it. The ridges are too complicated to get through an O-ring, and I believe the cock is 5" around at its widest point. I've heard of people wearing underwear just under the shaft and holding it up that way. My body fits the Share XL well enough to need no assistance, but that's an option if you don't think you can support it yourself. For rough missionary sex, choose a different toy. This will only stay in so long with your wetness and muscle stamina. My girl rides fairly hard, and that usually doesn't cause a problem because I'm not moving much. We have to go with a different option if we're in the mood to really thrash around or slam into each other. This toy requires you to be gentle on some level. Finding a position that works for your bodies may not be easy, but it should be worth it. This is an amazingly-designed toy to stimulate both partners. For me, being able to have sex with nothing between us is all I wanted. This pleases us both. We cum together with it, and I can feel all her curves and movements because we're pressed together.
If for some reason it doesn't work for sex, it can be used as a regular dildo. The bulb is a perfect fit for the hand. As I mentioned, I'm not sure how this would work for anal. It's massive and ridged, whereas most anal toys are smaller and smooth. Proceed with caution.

Care and Maintenance

This is an easy toy to care for, because it's pure silicone. It's one of the safest toys you can get. You have the options of boiling, throwing in the top rack of the dishwasher, using regular soap and water, or wipes to clean it. We usually go with wipes (free from Edenfantasys with purchase). It can attract lint, so we store ours in the box it came in. As with all silicone toys, use only water-based lubes (and condoms) with the Share XL. Rinse off lube and cum after sex or use the wipes. Take special care around the ridges. Maybe use a Q-tip with water on it to ensure that nothing is left hidden underneath them. Other than that, there are no secrets to keeping this clean. It's a low-maintenance toy.
