Firm, reliable, light-catching, gorgeous, unyielding. Odor-free, sterilizable, purveyor of some of the most delicious texture around. I've been a fan of borosilicate glass sex toys for a long time, and I expect my lust will continue. Phallix has become a favorite brand of mine, because not only are their designs beautiful and original, they blow all their glass in the US, and test it for flaws before shipping it out. Phallix glass is borosilicate glass of the strongest and (arguably) prettiest variety.

I've tried lots of designs and textures... from spirals to tight spirals, to smooth and bulbed, to double-penetration texture sample packs to G-spot curves with bumps and spirals. While my all-time favorite glass dildo is still graced with golden lattice, after the almost-otherworldly magnificence of the Gold Laced G, bumps are my favorite texture. They offer the perfect amount of stimulation, keeping my vaginal muscles awake and moving (unlike spirals which have too big of gaps from one wrap to the next)---like a gravel road that's well-traveled, there is texture but it's even texture. Your wagon wheels are never going to get stuck in a rut and have a rude awakening bouncing back up---it's just a tight pack, that keeps you paying attention and enjoying every inch of the ride.

Phallix has taken these bumps, the almonds in my ice cream, and offered them in two varieties---clear (prettier on the vagina than it is on the eyes) and gold-fumed (a delight for all the senses). Rocky Road starts out as a clear dildo, 1.25" in diameter, with a perfect pointed-oval head and a flared base that makes this stand on its own and anal-safe. The g- or p-spotting head even comes with a notched "V," which is excellent for rubbing against the clit when you're just starting to become aroused. When the glassblowers fume 24K gold into the glass which becomes the bumps, the gold turns a dazzling shade of pink-with-still-some-gold-in-it. It catches the light like you wouldn't believe (until you watch my video review, I guess). The bumps add about another .25" in diameter, and they're placed in staggered concentric circles to keep your muscles right at the reins, paying attention and relishing every thrust.

The Rocky Road is a thrusting dildo, for me. It has a gentle g-spot curve, and it works for g-spotting... but I just get so carried away thrusting with these amazing bumps that I don't pay any special attention to my g-spot. The Rocky Road hits all my spots.
