First Time Done Right
This item is worth using to get you started with using kegel exercisers. It isn't intimidating and helps you get comfortable with kegel balls. The balls were a perfect size for me to start. The toy has a nice velvet feel to it. This toy was easy to clean; I used Dove bar soap. The toy can be used with water and silicone based lubes. The safety rating is a 6 out of 10.

Outer pull-cord is super noticeable
The purpose of this toy is to strengthen your pelvic floor. This will make orgasms more intense. At least that is why I use the product. For a woman who has had children this would help to tighten you up again.
This toy is the perfect size for a first time. The texture is smooth. There is a seam in each ball. I, personally, could not really feel the seams. The balls are very soft. The cord that connects the ball is pretty stiff. I could feel the pull-cord on the outside; it is very noticeable. If I were to make an improvement I would have made the pull-cord more flexible. Another improvement I would make would be to make the pull-cord loop slightly smaller.
The toy doesn't have a cheap-quality feel. It was worth the price.
The balls have something inside of them that moves around and gives them weight. When inserted, whatever is inside of them did not move around much. They did not move around even as I walked up and down stairs.
With a first use there is almost no smell. It does not have a rich plastic smell. That is very nice.
The material is Phthalate free! The material safety is 6 out of 10. Caution: do not boil this toy. TPE should not be boiled.
To wash the toy, I used Dove bar soap because it is pH balanced. The water based lubricant that I used with the toy came off easily with the Dove soap. Silicone based lubes can be used with this toy as well. Be sure to clean the seams well to prevent a build-up inside of them.

Experience
As this was my first time using kegel exercisers I will say that it was lovely. The balls are noticeable enough, I could slightly feel them but not taxing to use. TPR is more porous than silicone but I did not have to use a lot of lubricant.
I kept them in for about 20 minutes. That was enough for a first time.
