This toy would normally be a good choice for any beginner looking to exercise their kegel muscles, if it were not for the plastic-coated cord between balls. Even with the warming of the plastic from body heat, the cords are mostly inflexible and very pinchy. Normally the balls would be used as weights, the internal balls making a rocking motion to set them off balance and popping them out when the muscles are not holding them in tight. I found that they were uncomfortable and pointless, since the lack of give to the plastic between the balls just pushed them out on their own, like a spring.

Made from TPE and PU-coated plastic, this has seams and sharp edges. It is rated a 6 on the EF safety scale. Germs and bacteria can also be easily trapped in the seams or the "cord" and not be easily washed away. I am wondering if I will use this again because it was not a happy thing in my happy place. Once open, the only smell I noticed was a plastic one--not highly offensive.

I like the design of these balls, however the tubing between the balls do not have any give and are uncomfortable. With a length of 8-1/2", the insertable length is 6-1/2", mainly from the tubing without any give. The balls have a circumference of 4" and diameter of 1-1/4". With a weight of 1.5 oz, they are not very heavy, so they would be ideal for beginners.

One of the good things about these balls is the pull string. People who are new to Kegel balls might not know how to properly take them out, so this simplifies things. However, that was about the only thing about using this toy that I can say was great. I inserted them and automatically found them uncomfortable. Between the seams and my inability to get them into a comfortable position with my smaller insides, they just have not worked out for me.

Made from TPE, these can not be boiled or tossed in the dishwasher so that makes it a bit difficult to clean them well. I would recommend a using a toy cleaning, anti-bacterial spray so you can try to get in-between the ridges of the connections for the balls and other crevices. Again, this is rated as a 6 on the EF safety scale.

The packaging was the normal, plastic shell I come to expect from a lot of toys. Molded around the love balls and the cord, this shows everything and is in no way discreet.



I keep my balls stored in a plastic baggy in my toy box; the original packaging would just take up more space unnecessarily.

When I first tried these, they actually caused me pain. Thinking I must have done something wrong, I have tried them a couple times since. They are still very painful; I must be too sensitive.
