SinFive Emigi set heavy - exerciser for vaginal muscles by SINFIVE - review by misskat

Heavy Duty

I was a little let down by these exercisers. I had the original, lighter weight Emigi and I really thought this would be a step up. The flame-colored medium weight one is okay but the black, heaviest one is solid and has no internal movement, no rumbly sensation. At times, I forgot these were in me altogether. I do like that you get two in this pack and they are very easy to care for.
Two different weights, easy to insert/use, comfortable, easy to clean and store, makes me very wet
Black one is solid, hard to feel, I forgot they were there at times

This is a set of two peanut-shaped kegel exercisers by SinFive. They are two different weights and considered to be "heavy." SinFive makes another Emigi that is a lighter version.

Kegel exercisers are intended to build the kegel muscles and increase vaginal tightness. These are good for anyone who wants to feel tighter and improve pelvic floor strength, women suffering from incontinence or women wanting to tighten back up after vaginal childbirth.

You simply insert one Emigi into your vagina like a tampon and squeeze your Kegel muscles to hold it in place. It is the same motion to stop urinating.

The retrieval cord is worn outside the body and pulled to remove the Emigi.

They are for vaginal use only and should not be used anally.

In the red one (Flame), there is a weighted ball you can feel moving around inside it. The black one is solid. The original and lighter Emigis have the ball as well.

The Emigi can be worn anywhere at anytime and no one will have any idea.

One of my favorite parts about using vaginal exercisers is that when I remove them, although I do not feel particularly aroused while using them, I am very wet.

Material / Texture

The Emigi heavy set is listed on Eden's page as being Elastomer (7 on the safety scale) but the original Emigi, which I have also reviewed, is listed as WTP (an 8 on the safety scale).

I have no idea why they would downgrade the material used for a toy from an earlier version to a newer version; usually toy manufacturers upgrade.

The package says the heavy set is in fact made of Elastomer. Elastomer is more porous than silicone so if you must share an elastomer toy, use a condom on it. It feels similar to silicone. It is velvety smooth and has a little drag to it. The Emigis have an anti-microbial coating, making cleanup a breeze.

There is no texture, no bumps, just a faint seam. The rest of it is smooth. They are very firm with very little "give" to them. They also have no odor or taste to them.

Design / Shape / Size

The Emigi exercisers are on the small end of the range compared to other balls, like the Smartballs, but larger than a lot of the individual kegel balls that you put in separately. All Emigis, regardless of weight, are the same size externally (the light pink pictured is the original weight).

The dimensions are:

6" (including retrieval cord)
Insertable length:
2 1/2" (just the Emigi itself)
3 3/4"
1 1/4"

The original Emigi weighs 58 grams. The "Flame" one, which is the medium weight, weighs 72 grams, and the black one weighs 92 grams. The original and medium weight ones have a weighted ball inside that you can hear (and feel!) rolling around. The black one is solid and has no movement. The movement is part of the fun though! The movement creates a lot of sensation and I kind of missed that with the black one!

In my original Emigi review, I said that I frequently could not feel the Emigi or would even forget I had it in at times. I thought this would be rectified with this set, being that they are heavier, but I actually still forget that they are in at times. I wore the heaviest (black) one out one afternoon and to dinner and around town that night and we were getting ready for bed when my partner asked if I still had it in...I had completely forgotten. I think this is partially due to the lack of movement.

This is shaped like a peanut and with the retrieval cord, it really resembles a cat toy. I actually think that this is quite discreet! One of mine was laying on my nightstand and some friends came in and looked right at it and never even questioned what it was! It does not attract much lint which makes it easy to toss in a bag for travel. I don't think you would ever be questioned as to what it was, even by airport security.
    • Discreet look/design

As an owner/ user of the original Emigi, I was excited to see heavier versions of this beloved kegel exerciser for sale. I just cannot figure out why they did not put moving weighted balls in the heaviest (black) one. That rolling sensation adds so much and in the black one it is just absent.

Also, even though these are the heaviest set, I don't think they are enough for me. It's pretty bad when you forget that something is in your vagina, especially something supposed to be heavy and giving you a workout. Now, I have never given birth and I am still quite young, so maybe I am just tight and hold it in place to start with. Whatever the reason, I think I should at least be aware of them.
    • Easy to use

Care and Maintenance

These are easy to care for because they have been treated with an anti-microbial coating. Upon removal, simply wash them with warm water and soap or toy cleaner. Pay attention to the seam to make sure you get any fluid out of there, but other than that, you are done.

They do attract a little bit of lint but it is quite minimal. I store mine in a drawer and have discarded the box, though it would be good for storage.

They are compatible with any kind of lube, but I would recommend water-based.

They came in a simple cardboard box with a fold-down top. Basic information is written on the box in several languages and there is a clear window on the front that allows you to see the two Emigi nestled inside. It would serve fine as storage for the toys in between uses, but I simply store mine in a drawer. The package is not discreet, as you can see the items through the front window.
