I don't know why I dislike you but I do

It's so cheap that it would make a great novelty gift. But really if you're looking for enjoyment, there are better vibrators out there; including some in a similar price range.
Takes rechargeable batteries, cheap.
Boring material.

I can find no logical reason why I don’t like this toy, but it just doesn’t do it for me.

I’ve never had what you’d call a happy relationship with my g-spot. Usually after three or four minutes of trying to find out what all the fuss is about, I give up and move on to my clitoris. However, the Shiny G doesn’t feel great on there either. I don’t know if it’s the texture, or the exact frequency of the vibrations, but the sensation just doesn’t give me goose bumps like comparable toys do.

The toy is made of hard plastic: the advantage of which is that it transmits the vibrations quite well, the disadvantage is that it doesn’t have that heavenly feel you would get from say silicone or gel.

The motor vibrates quite quickly, but not at a particularly high intensity, sounding like a particularly angry bee. This completely ruined the mood when I tried it with my highly sting-phobic girlfriend.

Having now complained it does bring me to orgasm at about the same pace as any other vibrating sex toy, but the journey there isn’t quite as scrumptious. I just lie there, bored, until I cum.

Its strength is that, being long and very narrow, you can use it for nearly all erogenous zones. As I easily inserted it into my girlfriends arse, with only a tiny dollop of lube, I couldn’t help thinking how suitable it would be for the anal novice. It's smooth, thin and hard, making for easy insertion, and the curved tip would stimulate a man's p-spot. Mind you toys without flared bases are not recommended for anal play, because they can go in too far; particularly when slippery fingers are involved.

The included jelly cock ring was wasted on us. Perhaps a man trying to prologue his erection might appreciate it more.

Requiring AAA batteries is very handy because you can get rechargeables for it, which you will need. The batteries last well for about 2 hours, and then suddenly go virtually dead, so charge in advance if your Shiny G is going to be part of a long love-making session.
One amusing, but not particularly sexy, party trick is that if you hold your Shiny G between your legs so that the tip is peeping out between your labia, it does look quite a lot like a clitoris. So I did scare my partner by pointing to my 'clit' and then watching her jump when I made it grow.

The current sale price has enticed us to buy one with the idea of using it anally. Is slipping too far inside an issue if the jelly ring is left on?
