Shiny G - g-spot vibrator discontinued by Shaki Toys - review by oopsy

This cute little toy is powerful and gets the job done, but not without some noticeable flaws. While the color is great and the vibrations are strong and concentrated, this toy does make the most awful noise when it's turned on. It is not at all discreet and I would suggest waiting until no one is home to use this one!

The control works, but it not at all what is promised. It seems to have two settings; on and off. The black battery cover spins tight to turn it on, but this is a pretty dumb design as there's no way to make sure it's really going to stay off except for taking the batteries out. There's also no way to lock it on, so if you move it too fast it turns off. Also, if there's too much or too little pressure applied to the controler/ battery cover, it turns on or off without command.

It takes AAA batteries and doesn't burn through them too quickly, so it's pretty cost efficient. I have yet to find a good way to use the rubber spiky attachment on the bottom. I'm sure some people might really like it, but I find that it's not big enough to really provide much clit enjoyment, and it's hard to find a good angle for it to be useful. But that piece easily comes on or off, so whether you want it on or off it works.

This toy is pretty easy to clean as well. It's not waterproof, so don't submerge it, but it works with soap and water. I've heard that the paint sometimes chips but I haven't had that problem at all. It's also pretty easy to use it with a condom if you want that. It's narrow, so the condoms tend to hang off of it but it still works.

I also wouldn't really recommend traveling with it unless you remove the batteries and pack them separately. Overall it's a good toy with powerful vibrations, but not subtle and not easy to use.

This vibrator has stayed just as powerful, and while I still find it pretty noisy, it's worth it. I tried the rubber attachment and found it just as useless as it looks, but maybe it will work for you! It has great battery life, and my partner really enjoys it for p-spot stimulation as well! I made it quieter by wrapping a post-it around the paper noise canceler between the batteries and the plastic inside. It’s still easy to use and it hasn’t lost any of its power, even after many uses. I've also found that it works great for double penetration, as it’s so thin, and works well for beginners who aren’t ready for two full sized toys (or people).
