Preface***Let me preface this review with some praise for Evolved. I purchased the Get a Grip (black/Male version) in July and the vibrator part stopped working around January. Evolved customer service was quick to respond and honor their warranty (1yr) and replaced my toy right away. I took the Love handle, since the black was out of stock, so I didn't have to be without my favorite toy for long. They even through in a small vibe free**** Yes, they are the same toy, since I know some wondered previously.

The Get a Grip was my first review at EF, so this will give me a chance to give a better opinion of it now that I have more experience with not only the toy, but with writing reviews.

The Love Handle, like its twin brother, is a P-spot or G-spot vibrating massager that is made by Evolved. It can be used solo for masturbation, kegels or during sex with partner (inserted in the males anus). It is designed to be inserted and remain in place, though it does have a handle that could be used for thrusting too. While it works for women too, I think it really shines as a prostate massager for men. This was my first purchase when joining EF and opened up the world of prostate pleasure to me. I have tried many different (and more expensive) toys since, and this is still my favorite. Evolved really set the bar high with this one. Maybe it is just my anatomy, but no other toy feels nearly as good to me. The shape just seems perfect, as I suspected the first time I saw one in a store.

My favorite way to use the Love Handle, is to wear this during sex or while using a fleshlight. Ideally, in the missionary or doggy style positions. It is at it's best when fucking on my knees, with legs apart to give it all the freedom to move it needs. It also feels good while getting a Blowjob or handjob. It gives a nice slow building stimulation with each thrust that builds to a crescendo when I finally cum.

It stimulates the prostate and perineum simultaneously. The whole thing vibrates and I find while having sex, the handle gives a pleasurable gentle push on the back my scrotum and upper perineum area as well with each thrust. The best part though, is how the insertable head glides in and out of my anus with every stroke and PC muscle contraction, to give the perfect pressure and movement to my prostate. While the vibrations are great, I often opt not to turn them on at all and focus on the other joyful feelings I get. I keep trying new toys, with mixed results, but I always come back to this one, which just feels the best, by a long shot.

I apologize if this is a male centered review, but we don't use it on her, because we have other toys to choose from she prefers. My personal opinion is that this is a fabulous P-spot toy, but for G-spot play, experiences may vary more. Women have so many more choices for toys too, that this one probably gets overlooked.

The Material is PU coated plastic, that comes in at a 7 of the EF rating scale. The texture is smooth and slightly matte, with a slight bit of drag, but a bit of lubrication makes it nice and slick and lubricants kind of adhere to the plastic and stay put, especially when using Silicone lube. You can use any type of lube with this toy, which is a huge plus. It is firm rigid plastic, with no give to it. For me, that is great for prostate stimulation. Being plastic it is rigid with no give (a good thing for this toy).

It is easy to clean with soap and water or toy cleaner. I use EF wipes when removing it in the bedroom and then give a more through cleaning in the bathroom.

The insertable portion is about 5", but you really only need to insert it a few inches and let your body draw it right in to the sweet spot for best results. It is 3" in circumference or about 1" wide at the tip and tapers down to about 1/2" along the shaft. The handle rests against the perineum and sort of acts as a fulcrum and counterweight (whether by design or chance, it's just pure genius). The power/function button is easily accessible at the tip, by just reaching down between your legs. It can be easy to inadvertently press the button when cleaning or swapping batteries.

The size is perfect for a beginner or intermediate anal player, though I have to say size isn't everything and this could probably please anyone, in my opinion.

It is not discreet or travel friendly, but I did pack mine on my checked luggage on a trip to Mexico and was sure glad I brought it with me. It got used everyday! I highly recommend removing the batteries for travel, as the button could be turned on accidentally, either causing embarrassment or draining your batteries.

It can be used solo or with a partner and is very ergonomic. It is easy to insert without having to worry about getting lube all over the handle, like with a butt plug or other prostate massagers.

The handle is around 4.5" and is very ergonomic for inserting solo or as a partner with indentations for your fingers to grip. It can easily be held in your hand for thrusting or insertion, while your thumb rests near the power/function button, when using on a partner. I find for solo insertion, it is among the easiest of toys to insert and the handle facilitates that.

The Love handle has 7 different functions 3 levels of constant vibration and 4 different pattern vibrations. All are controlled from the same button. Press and hold to turn on and press to change speeds. Press and hold to turn off. Simple.

The toy is slightly noisy in the open, but much quieter when inserted. I'd say you would have to have your ear up against a door to hear it at all at the highest settings, but it is definitely audible in a quiet place if other people are around. The vibrations are on the buzzy side, not rumbly.

It is waterproof, but I would test this reluctantly. The problem is the battery cover is less than secure sometimes. I must say that my 2nd version of this toy seems much more secure and airtight. These observations were from the original item.

It takes 2 AAA batteries, but the battery cover is a pain to remove at first, if you aren't sure what you are doing. You have to press hard on two small indentations and pull/push it off. There is little give in the material, so it takes some patience, trial and error to get it open. There is no real "click" to let you know you got it on securely. It doesn't seem to close as tight as when it was empty either, so I might be reluctant to jump in the shower with it just yet. Though really, a little electrical tape wrapped around the seam could solve any apprehensions to hopping in the shower with it and prevent any water possibly seeping in.

I'm guessing with my first copy, some water might have seeped into the battery compartment, but I'm not sure. This time around, I will use electrical tape; it won't affect performance at all. Batteries seem to last quite a while too.

The Love Handle is easy to care for. Just wash with hot water and soap after each use or use some anti-bacterial toy cleaner. Just be careful not to get water in the battery compartment to prevent any possible problems.

I store it in a drawer or toy box. The original package could be used, but I just chose not to, because of limited space and I don't want to fiddle with getting the toy in and out of the casing, when I am ready to use it (which is pretty often).

You can use Water-based, oil-based or silicone lube with the love handle or any other type as far as that goes.

Personally, I find silicone to be the best or Maximus is a close second.

The packaging is nice and reusable like most Evolved vibrators & toys. A hard, clear plastic case with a unique shape. There was no noticeable smell upon opening the package. It is recyclable too. It is not discreet, as you can see the entire toy and the name and description make it obvious it is a sex toy. The back side of the case has instructions for use, battery changing and care.

I don't use it for storage, but you certainly can and it was designed to be, but it's just too bulky for me to keep in a drawer or small toy box. I also don't want to fumble around with the box, when I need to grab my toy for playtime.

Evolved Customer service is top notch and very quick to respond to any inquiries. I mean like 5 minutes quick, to get back to you. I had a similar problem with another company and have heard nothing from anyone, after multiple emails (and going on 4 weeks).
