Divine oral pleasure gloss - lip gloss discontinued by Shunga Erotic Art - review by oopsy

This lip gloss is designed for daily use as well as having the special treat of enhancing oral loving and kissing. It produces a tingling sensation on your lips that is supposed to transfer when giving oral, but in reality, it just leaves everything you kiss sticky and the tingling isn't powerful enough to really transfer to anywhere else. It's a translucent Lip gloss, so it can be worn everyday or for special occasions, if it didn't wear off really quickly. It also never really 'sets in' on your lips, so they are always sticky, and not ever moisturized or any other benefits of lip gloss.

Maybe it will work for you, but for me, it fell flat. I had high expectations, but I think it would be disappointing no matter what I expected.

It has a gel like consistency, applied by a brush on the top, and it glides on your lips pretty smoothly, but it's a little watery in consistency. It's kind of cooling and warming at the same time, and that feels neat, for maybe about 3 minutes. The lip gloss itself lasts for maybe an hour, tops. I found it wore off quickly, leaving no taste, glossy shine, or tingle whatsoever. The entire time my lips felt greasy as well. It felt a little runny for gloss, and it did not spread over my lips evenly because of that.

It is Phthalates free, Sulfates free, Triclosan free and Parabens free though! It can be hard to find makeup that meets these standards now a days.

The aroma is very faint, just a little bit of sweetness, maybe vanilla. The taste is strong of fruit and vanilla. It describes itself as Strawberry and Champagne. It taste like fake strawberry candy. It's a bit overwhelming, and not very sexy tasting at all. But tastes and smells are very personal, so don't take my word for it. The taste is just too overpowering and distracting. I did not really enjoy how it tasted, it felt like a cheap makeup for children, not a sexy oral enhancing lip gloss, and it did not taste like how much is cost.

Ingredients: Hydrogenated Polyisobutene and Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer and Butylene/Ethylene/Styrene Copolymer, Menthyl Lactate, Glycerine, Flavor (Aroma), Sucralose, Polyglyceryl Stearate, Vanillin Butyl Ether (Vanillyl Butyl Ether)

It was a very strong tingling sensation when first applied. I found that only a swipe over my lips left them almost numb for a few minutes, and then promptly that feeling wore off. If you plan to actually do something with you mouth, especially anything sexy, I'd recommend taking the bottle with you to the bedroom, because you'll need to reapply every few minutes. It doesn't plump your lips or provide any color, just a bit of translucent gloss for a shirt while. It comes in a .33 ox bottle, and it does look quite fancy. But on the other hand, it's a translucent bottle, with translucent gloss. So if you have any anything on your lips (other color, crumbs, flakes of skin, semen) then that gets on the brush, and then it just floats around in the bottle. I had some very light brownish color on my lips, and it got on the brush, even hours after I applied the color, and now my brush looks like of mucky. So be careful when layering or in fact, whenever putting this on your lips, because every speck will show in this bottle.

On the plus side, it's really to get off you lips if you want it. Just touch your lips to literally anything, and it's almost like you didn't spend this much to have foul tasting sicky sweet goo on your lips at all!

The packaging was really nice. It felt sexy and decedent. The box is brightly colored and has lovely pictures on it. It looks very special and fancy. It is carefully placed in the box with some literature about Shunga.

Tingling and cooling sensation. It can be a little overpowering, so apply a little bit at first, and see how it feels for you before putting it on thickly.
